Come on then Redcafe experts, what will the table look like in May? You can wait until the transfer window shuts but I'm good to go with the top side:

1. City
2. Liverpool
3. Chelsea
4. Spurs
5. Utd
6. Arsenal
7. West Ham

I think Liverpool will end up as champions, Salah not playing in the World Cup hands them a huge advantage, in saying that I wouldn't be surprised if theres a shock winner this year either.

Liverpool/Man Utd
City/Man Utd
Spurs/Man Utd
Chelsea/Man Utd
Arsenal/Man Utd

Think we are going to be the surprise package this year…

City, Pool, Spurs, Chelsea, United, Arsenal

Hard to predict atm with the window still open.

  1. City
  2. Liverpool
  3. United
  4. Chelsea
  5. Spurs
  6. Arsenal
  7. West Ham
  8. Brighton
  9. Newcastle
  10. Palace
  11. Leicester
  12. Villa
  13. Leeds
  14. Wolves
  15. Everton
  16. Nottingham Forest
  17. Brentford
  18. Southampton
  19. Fulham
  20. Bournemouth
No idea with the bottom half of the league.

1. City
2. Spurs
3. Pool
4. United
5. Chelsea
6. Arsenal

95-100 points again - Can't see past City for the title, such is life with a blank chequebook
75-85 points - Spurs seem to have strengthened, plus conte is a winner
75-85 points - Pool are argueably weakened by the departure of Mane and the form of Salah... plus the jury is out on Nunez
75-85 points - United will have a better year, think they will be fighting for 2-4 with spurs and pool
70 points - Chelsea
70 points - Arsenal

Think the fight for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th will be exciting, overshadowed by yet another runaway title by City

Hard to tell with so much of the window still to be completed but as it stands I'll guess top 6 to be in the same order as last season.

  1. City
  2. Liverpool
  3. Spurs
  4. Chelsea
  5. United
  6. Arsenal
  7. West Ham
  8. Leicester
I think we will put all our eggs in the Europa League basket in the mid season and I think/hope we'll win it.

1. City
2. Liverpool
3. Spurs
4. Chelsea
5. United
6. Arsenal
7. Leicester
8. Newcastle

The massive overrating of Spurs has started I see.

Based on the window thus far, how each team ended last season and the little of preseason we’ve seen…

Spurs - shock title win, great manager, spent well.
City - will falter due to CL campaign.
Liverpool - doping cycle, thus muscle injuries will increase.
Chelsea - will comfortably finish 4th.
Arsenal - will reach domestic cup final.
Utd - will reach domestic cup final.
Leicester - no European distraction.

Is it a down-cycle year? That would be great to see.

1st City

2nd Liverpool
3rd Tottenham
——————————
4th Chelsea
5th United
6th Arsenal
——————————
7th West Ham
8th Leicester
——————————
9th Newcastle
10th Wolves
11th Villa

12th Brighton
13th Brentford
14th Southampton
15th Palace
———————————
16th Everton
17th Forrest
18th Fulham
19th Leeds
20th Bournemouth

I’ve broken the table down into sections of where abouts I think the table will end up.

City
Liverpool
Spurs
United
Chelsea
West Ham
Arsenal

Most Arsenal fans I know expect a good season, therefore I reckon they'll finish 6th with Arteta finally sacked.

1. City
2. Utd
3. Liverpool
4. Arsenal
5. Spurs
6. Chelsea
7. West Ham

Yeah even with the Conte factor not sure what they've done so well for it to be a given they'll gazump us.

1. United
2. Chelsea
3. Brentford
4. Forest
18. City
19. Leeds
20. Liverpool

Very curious why pretty much everyone in here is predicting us (Chelsea) to take a considerable step back despite us pretty considerably improving our team. We are superior in literally every single position on the pitch to Spurs except for striker.

1. City
2. Liverpool
3. Chelsea
4. United
5. Spurs

7. West Ham

I think 4th will be between us and spurs, it will be tight but I'm hopeful we can make it!

How am I supposed to read this?

Could be Conte? He’s highly rated here more so than Tuchel.

Sterling is a good improvement but I think the rest is pretty much par at the moment given who you’ve lost. Don’t think there’s anything considerable currently and you do need a CF

Now you know where you are.

I'm going to put on my blue tinted glasses and assume that losing Mane will make pool shitter while our new signings will be great and make us better than last year. Even with those tints though, I can't convince myself that City aren't going to run away with it. Haaland was the final straw.

Tricky prediction. I'm sure mine will be wrong.

Tall order for City to do 3 in a row. Think they have a lot of flux in the squad with incomings and outgoings. They have quality but I think they will have slight teething problems, enough to disadvantage them in a tight race.

Liverpool have past history of using a close lost PL campaign as fuel for the following season. They lost Mane but got in some players. More continuity in the defense and midfield. I have them as favorites.

Chelsea... I have to see it to believe it. Bar a good spurt at the beginning of last season they never convinced as PL contenders. They've ejected the Scapegoat, but have lost a lot in defense. Plus key midfielders are aging.

Tottenham: Conte. Kane should have a better season. The depth they have brought in is impressive.

United: forsee progression under Ten Hag, but not enough to finish in the top 4. But should be well positioned at the end of the season to challenge for higher the following year.

Arsenal: Make or break season for Arteta. Some good signings in offense. Should bode well against the non-top 6 sides of the league.

West Ham, Leicester: nah

feck it, my predictions, bound to be wrong.

Liverpool
Tottenham
City
Arsenal
Chelsea
United

think we’ll be up for the fight this season… think it’s between us, Chelsea, spurs and arsenal for 3/4 places. Not convinced by arsenals defence which is why I’ve put them 6th, think us and Chelsea are stronger then spurs and the style of plays we’ll be producing should put us above them.

I just think these predictions show yet again that people on the Caf are massively overrating what we’ve lost in defense. You’d think reading some of the reasoning here that we’ve lost our half our team. We lost 1 nailed on starter in Rüdiger and one CB who wasn’t nailed on to start even when he was fit. That’s it.

Koulibaly for Rüdiger is a wash and if we get Kounde that’s a huge upgrade over AC.

Sterling is a gigantic upgrade in attack. Gallagher returns as one of the most promising midfielders in the league. We will make more signings.

I can’t see us finishing any lower than 3rd.

Won't you lose Azpi as well?

Defense may be covered with Koulibaly and another defender. I'm looking at midfield. Kante is getting old. Jorginho is past his best days. Kovacic is alright. Gallagher is an unknown in a disciplined midfield role. What's up with Loftus Cheek?

Sterling is a massive addition for sure, but huge question marks remain over every other attacker except for Mount.

Do you want everyone to tell you your teams great and you’re going to win the lot?

@roonster09

Reckon it’ll be between us and Liverpool again. Chelsea will close the gap a bit with their improvements and I think after another window or two they’ll be strong title contenders for 2023/24. I’m not convinced that Spurs will gel completely but still think they’ll have the quality to finish in the top 4. United’s stronger defence will place them above Arsenal.

1. City/Liverpool
2. Liverpool/City

4. Spurs

Azpi is long past it. Losing him won’t effect us at all on the pitch. If he stays he’s only a rarely used backup.

As for midfield, Kante and Jorginho are still very good. Not as good as a couple of years ago but still solid. Kovacic is way more than “alright,” he’s one of the best CM’s in the league.
