Just ran out of road today. Ole took this group of players on an amazing run but we were never going to go unbeaten in the league forever. Key thing is for me, this just felt like an off day. When we lost at Liverpool it felt important, like a sign of a deeper decay. Today though, meh, just felt like one to forget. Still feel like we’ll be up for the fight next game.

Didn’t play well and still created enough to win the game.

The result is shit but I’m not worried about any “end of honeymoon period” ideas.

Some absolutely shite performances out there.

Matic, Pogba, Rashford, Fred all horrendous. Lukaku spunked all his chances. Dalot, Shaw and Young all so wasteful and showing no composure in Arsenal's half. De Gea with an absolute howler. Lindelof all over the place. Honestly not a single good performance out there.

And especially annoying because even with everyone playing so shite you can see how poor Arsenal are and how easily we could have beaten them had we been at the races. Really poor decisions from Ole as well, in the initial lineup and in being stupidly slow in making changes in the second half. Fred and Rashford shouldn't have been on the pitch after the 60th minute.

We didn't take our chances today, and an error from De Gea and a soft penalty won Arsenal the game.

Is ok I still think we will take Top 4.

Just wasn't happening today. Could've won it on another day. Shit happens, move on. We can still get top four.

Penalty killed us. Up to that point I was confident we'd get at least a draw.

Ah well, shaping up to be an exciting run in for 3rd and 4th.

We were better team, didn't score clean chances, they scored two lucky goals and that is it.
In 4 of 5 games we would beat this shit Arsenal team.

Couldn't put it in the back of the net. It happens. Need to regroup.

Also, Fred wasn't too bad at all.

Next game please.

Fluke mistake from our keeper, a dive and an off day from our strikers settled an even affair. We really had a hangover from the PSG result. Need to rest players and rotate, keep the squad fresh.

The ref handles their constant diving very well all game. Then falls for the worst one of them all for the penalty. Absolute bastard.

I wish people would stop calling it a ‘soft’ penalty. It just wasn’t a penalty.

Ref was out his depth, we were poor though. Arsenal defended extremely well for once.

Knew that was going to happen. Impossible to take out the euphoria of Paris game and play yet another big game in few days.

We badly need the international break.
Nothing to do with euphoria

Well... If we had to have one of those performances, I'd prefer it had been against City maybe? Not a team we are competing with for top 4, or a relegation battle.

Pissed though...

Punished by poor finishing more than anything else. Those Lukaku chances should be taken by top players.

We were shaky at the back to start, but after that first 20 -30 minutes I felt like we looked more dangerous on the whole. But you need to take your chances when you're on top.

Arsenal did to us what we've done to them so often down the years. Get an early goal, then pick us off as we throw more forward. Even then their goals came from an uncharacteristic mistake from De Gea and a really soft penalty.

Poor finishing from us, a freak goal and a dive from them.

Annoying, but we were owed some bad luck after Wednesday and paid for starting atrociously. We’re a better team than them though, so hopefully there’s enough games left to make it count.

Where the grass is greener.
We created enough to win the game. Sucker punched by the penalty. We were wasteful. Lukaku missed three great chances, that he should have put away.

Very frustrated to lose to be honest, because I don't rate that Arsenal team at all, we should have done better, we should have beaten them.

Not the end of the world.

Mentally, we were still celebrating PSG win. Did not turn up mentally. No one played well. Conditions did not help.

Awful weekend. AFTV will be unbearable tonight. Goldberg will be getting a roasting from DT and Troopz for sure.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
As others have mentioned it was just one of those days. Lukaku was very good but his finishing was awful. Which sounds weird. He shoulda took his chances. If he does, we win comfortably.

I though we played pretty well actually. With some better finishing we would have won pretty easily.
Shame it happened in this match as a win would put us in a great position.

We already proven under Ole that we can bounce back from a loss, so lets do it again.

On another note, i dont read the match day thread that much but did today, and oh my god we got some horrible fans in here that turn on every player who makes the smallest mistake.

Weird game. We were better than in the previous game against them but lost while winning that one.

It’s okay though, still a good chance at top 4.

No luck whatsoever today.

Lukaku looked lively but again in a big match against a top 6 rival he misses crucial chances and we lose.

Rashford's worst ever game for us.

Need to regroup.

Created good number of chances but failed to finish them off. Good time to play FA cup and then international break.

Think the week caught up with us a little bit there. Wasn’t an awful display, but we lacked a bit of intensity, a bit of quality and made some really poor errors in the final third. There was a bit of bad luck but no real complaints.

Race for top 4 isn’t over by any stretch. Arsenal don’t look good at all and there will be plenty of twists and turns by end of season.

Not the end of the world. Spurs are dropping like a bag of concrete. Chelsea being Chelsea. Top 4 still on. Shaw man of the match.

Didn't do a lot wrong today. Hit the woodwork twice, fluffed chances, keeper had a good game.

On the other hand, a freak gust of wind and 'simulation' cost us 2 goals.

Any other day, we'd have won. Just have to hope it doesn't hit our top 4 chances - but I think Spurs will continue to bottle it and we'll still sneak 3rd or 4th.

Unlucky today. More than enough chances to win this match, we're better than Arsenal. Just wish our impact subs would make an impact for a change

The usual game against Arsenal... except that we switched roles. Not a tragedy, but we should've won that.

Would be too easy if we smashed every game :)
My money is on spurs missing top four and Arse and us fighting for 3rd.
