Would gladly swap tonights win with 3 points last weekend. Still good to beat that lucky sod Emery who's side got a OG and a goal that would be ruled out if VAR was in operation

Hopefully the win and 4 goals raises the confidence for the Fulham game. fixture congestion a problem now but cross that bridge in the new year.

Snorefest of a 1st half but a really entertaining 2md half.

The triple substitution changed the game. We looked much better when Eriksen & Garnacho were introduced.

Bailey is such a cnut. Should get a retrospective ban for that stamp on the knee.

As soon as the chuckle brothers were subbed off things got a lot better.

Hope we never see either on the pitch for united again, patience with Fred and VDB has expired.

Get Garnacho a new contract, he can have the number 7 and we can flog sancho to newcastle

Garnacho has shown more genuine quality in three games than Elanga has ever shown. He's ready to play

Malacia touch is similar to McFred. Consequently, we can expect substandard or just barely on standard performances with him.

On the opposite spectrum, Garnacho has lovely technique, the rest is not worth notin cuz yung n learnin

Good to see Martial back, the pressing improved and as a result we were able to pin Villa for significant portions of the match.

Rashford scored and also made you scratch your head with his other finishes.

DVB put on an invisible act once again, struggling to remember anything significant from him.

McFred was Mcfred.

Maguire/Lindelof, ugh, watching them is like watching Mcfred, soo many stupid irritating little mistakes, and then inevitable the big mistake. Goal 1 was Lindelof playing the man onside and Maguire losing him. Shambles.

Dalot really needs a rest, that man is playing everything 90 minutes, just a matter of time before fatigue mistakes or fatigue injury.

What a second half that was! Our second choice CBs have glaring weaknesses which were exploited again. But the response from going down was fantastic. It's like a switch was flipped with the subs coming on, the entire mentality changed. Good management by EtH.

Very happy to see all three of Rashford, Martial and Bruno on the scoresheet. But the performance of the match goes to Garnacho. He has grabbed his chance by both hands and it's great to see another young player come through the ranks. Just needs to keep his head down as he has the talent to succeed.

Great send off for OT before the World Cup. Now to end the first half of the campaign on a high against Fulham.

Not a high quality match, but lots of fun. Lots of mistakes, some good goals, a see saw cup game. Pretty decent way to spend an evening.

That central area - Maguire, Lindelof, Fred, Scott and VDB - was pretty much a void. Scott was at least the best of the bunch. Don't wanna see them turn out collectively again.

A few players had decent games though. Garnacho had a great cameo. That pass... wow. Divine. I loved Malacia's tenacity. Rashford keeps tapping them in, which is nice. Martial managed to not get injured, which is also a plus.

Thought Dubravka looked pretty comfortable. Certainly decent on the ball, when Dalot mullered that ball back to him at thigh height near the goal line he was pretty ok at dealing with it. He had one slightly short pass in his own box second half, otherwise looked a decent backup.

Let's see what that draw brings us.

From a forgettable to fantastic half of football. Issues in defence remain when Maguire/Lindeloff play together, hopefully not to be seen again!

Don't want to hype the kid but Garnacho looks very promising and hope keeps his development trajectory for the rest of season. On current form he's ahead of Sancho.

But please can we have an easier draw given the next round will come amidst horrendous schedule (don't expect it, PL team away coming up!).

Bruno MOTM. Can't begrudge him having a fecked lamp-post to work with. Kebab needs to be released. Still remembering how that tosser blew a fuse at not being brought on. He's shite.

Yeah Elanga is sadly not good enough. Garnacho is quality. BETTER not harbour the “Real Madrid” dream.

What a difference having a spine that's willing and able to progress the ball makes, eh? Bruno for Van de Beek at #10, Eriksen in for Fred and all of a sudden the game turned on its head. Just goes to show the real depth of our squad doesn't it?

McFred was Mcfred.

Maguire makes so many small irritating mistakes that just make you see he does not belong on this team, not at fault for the goals.

Lindelof being Lindelof, indecisive and playing the man on.

Harsh on Rashford.

Happy that I watch the 2nd half, when Villa scored my heart sank but great come back. Rashford is truly back, he looks hungry and motivated. Garnacho will have bright future here, I think Rashford and Martial can rotate as main attacker. Rashford and Garnacho can over the left. Sancho can only play as a backup of left and right. We still need a striker as Martial cannot be rely on. Can we back another 2 more defender from Dutch league? I love the aggressive defending from Malacia and Martinez. We need 2 more such defender, front foot defending and winning the ball back. No more Lindeloft and Maguire, passive and slow. 1-2 more midfielders, please.

Maguire will be warming the bench for England games at Qatar with performances like this.

Bruno, Rashford, Martial, Garnacho immense in the 2nd half.

Second half was a riot!

Very happy with that! Beaten twice by Villa within a week would have really pissed me off.

Garnarcho sooooo good. Hope he behaves himself and keep improving.

Lovely goals from us. Nice to score more than one goal for a change as well..... seems like a long time ago we even hit double figures

"Martial...He's isolated Skrtel here..."
My god it just goes to show how much better we'll be in a few windows.

VdB, Maguire, that calamity of a midfield partnership all need replacing

Felt bad for Martial that he didn't get to play with Casemiro and Eriksen, instead relying on McFred and the dutch ghost for service

Want to credit Malacia, who knew Garnacho would have Young on the ropes. He looked to him every time. It's been common with us not to take full advantage of such mismatches, where our fullbacks turn and pass it inward, ignoring the winger.

Interestingly Young did better than his replacement who was supposed to help.

That was fun, (in the second half). Real game of two Half's.
First half United were well on top but created very little.
The early goal opened up the second half and even though we were behind twice I really fancied us throughout.
