Similar performance on Saturday and we'll win the cup.

Hard to draw conclusions though really, was a dead rubber, Bournemouth didn't look arsed.

A very un-LVG like performance from us I thought. Forward passing and a bit of movement and directness in the final third.

Rooney and Rashford the stand out performances for me, though in the second half Bournemouth's defence was atrocious. Could and should have scored a few more.

Meh. Looks like LVG is going to make an end of season speech. Lets hope its a goodbye to OT.

FFS conceding like that, poor DDG. Bastards couldn't do one thing right by him.

That late OG is a right kick in the bollocks of an otherwise good performance.

Second half was good but not sure how much of that was due to most of the Bournemouth players heads already being in the departure lounge. Entertaining at least!

stupid end, but most of the game was like old times, thrashing pony at home without getting out of first gear.

Wew lads, finally managed to score more than two goals against a team already with their heads on holiday.

De Gea looked like he wanted to murder Smalling.

The last time we'll see LVG manage us at OT. Sweet relief.

Little rant aside, players looked like they played with more freedom today.

Don't know whether that was due to instructions, no pressure being on the game or if Bournemouth were poor, but whatever it was if only we'd seen it more often throughout the season.

Good 2nd half. Martial & Rashford are stars. Really great assist from Rooney.

I feel the own goal killed any chance we had of overtaking City's GD.

Seriously, who cares?

De Gea didn't win the golden glove. I'm not sure how I'll sleep tonight.

  • Memphis looks devoid of any confidence what so ever.
  • Valencia played well
  • Rooney was great
  • Rashford and Martial were pretty good

Looked like the standard boring stuff to me with the odd bit of football thrown in, but then it is only Bournemouth.

They also ruined DDG's day the pricks.

Really disappointing again from Herrera. That was inexcusable and has nothing to do with whether he has been Vangled or not.

Annoying goal to concede for De Gea to lose the golden glove with the last kick of the season basically.
Also Van Gaal gave no mention about next season. He knows he's gone. Thank feck.

On the actual game... It was a dead rubber and Bournemouth probably didn't try too much but it was probably one of our best attacking performances of the LvG era. Probably just told them to enjoy themselves and make it entertaining instead of the standard worry about this and that to not concede any chances. Everyone was clearly more relaxed and enjoyed themselves more then normal.
