Yet again not able to start a match. Battered for 20 minutes against Brighton. Rest of the game was sloppy with absolutely no one being able to play off instincts, and without the quality or intelligence to do much else. Even at their best, this team probably only has Mata and Young who can play instinctually.
Also still probably the only team in the league that can’t win the header when defending a corner, or at least it seems that way whenever we take one at the other end.

2nd place being all but secure shouldn’t matter, because 1. it’s not yet 2. there’s players out there that should be proving what they’re worth 3. do they not feel any responsibility to the fans whatsoever?
And Joses takes as much of the blame. Playing Fellaini and Matic against Brighton ffs. They still couldn’t control a thing in the middle of the park.

I don’t think I’ve ever felt as pissed off watching ‘United’ as I have tonight. The worst thing is we were only a tiny bit shitter than most of the games this season. There’s absolutely no way I’ll be paying good money to go and watch this garbage if it carries on after summer. I wouldn’t even waste my time if I was offered a free ticket.

Dear fecking God that was right down there with about twenty other terrible performances this season.

Shocking is to good a word to describe that.

HELLO
We're reactive as feck.

No idea why you can't start with two attacking full backs, and a more creative midfielder than Fellaini. Shit.

Too many similar players and players playing out of position. lack of width was so evident today and none of existing players could offer that. Lack of Sanchez and Lukaku was so evident today

Absolutely hopeless. I give up.

Why the hell these players go into walking and sulking mode after each big win ? We'll never be a title contender as long as this shitshow mentality in the club, and Mourinho failure to solve it makes him part of the blame as well.

Today 0/10 performance from everyone bar Dave. Feck off.

No point going mental over it but as if we needed reminding Darmian, Fellaini, Young and Mata simply aren't good enough and the likes of a Rashford and Martial aren't good enough to have the pressure of scoring the goals

Would have been more surprised if Roma turned it around the other night than we we equalized the way we played.

That's the worst I've seen United in a while. Not inspiring at all heading into next season.

This team reminds me most of Bentiez's Liverpool. Capable of game-raising and going toe-to-toe with any of the big boys, and of putting together a cup run here and there, but always likely to drop points against the lesser sides. Packed with mediocrity, especially in wide areas, and generally play a tumescent style of football. Think that Liverpool side had more leadership and balls though.
