Fantastic to see this trend of what would've been a frustrating draw last season turned into a solid professional win this season.

Very SAF-esque.

Great win. Delighted to see Rashford score. Martial and him seem to be having very similar games so far this season lol

United looking like their former selves so far this season, the kind of game where points were dropped the previous season. Great performance, one you expect from would be champions

Very comfortable, you could tell as soon as they actually had to play some football after the first goal went in.

We only played West Ham United. They are crap. Wait for our next game.
We only played WHU and Swansea. Both are crap. Wait for our next game.

We've only played West Ham, Swansea and Leicester...

Job done.

CB pairing is looking really good at the moment. No goals conceded but a few lapses towards the end. Lucky DDG is still on his toes.

Job well done. We'll often have trouble with getting that first goal but we'll be more than okay once we have that.

Good to know that when Rom hasnt got his shooting boots on we can still find goals in the team.

Rashford is class. The pass for lukakus missed chance at the end, only a few players on the park capable of seeing That let alone perfectly executing it.

They were very lucky to hold out for just 2-0, given we had one disallowed and a missed penalty. Team has plenty of stamina and self-belief to get over those missed opportunities. Goals coming from all over the place too.

Strongest start to a season for a long long time.
Thats actually the most promising sign for the season ahead

Lukaku penalty miss fecked up our mauling of Leicester.. Defense top notch.. Subs great, well pleased.
Yep, could've easily been 4 or 5-0.

We need a dedicated pen taker, I would give it to someone like Pogba or Mickey. Someone who can strike the ball cleanly. Also, feck Schmeichel for coming off his line, of course there will be no mention of that.

Also, two decent fullbacks please. Watching Valencia hitting defenders 90% of the time is getting frustrating to watch.

We need to hijack the Aurier deal and get Sessegnon/ Tierney.

Jose screaming at Matic, asking him to get back into midfield was hilarious.

Almost started to feel like it was going to be a draw again when Lukaku missed the penalty.

Good performance overall.

Tough match but deserved win especially when our striker got a day off but we still scored. I thought the performance was overall much better than the Swansea game except for the missed chances. We were more clinical against Swansea, though.

Keep the winning strike going!

Its only been three matches but it seems to be that Jose knows the team much better now. His subs all have almost immediate impact.
He seems to envision what they can do before coming on and it has been pretty effective after then come on.

Good sign. He is like a puppet master now

Good result and performance, but we could have done with more craft in the final third at times. We looked to be patiently waiting for something to happen, without anyone taking the risk themselves.

While Leicester didn't do much offensively, it was nice to win this kind of match, where things look to be going against us. The past two matches were a relative breeze, so it was nice to be tested with some actual resistance.

Very good performance. Leicester defended really well for most of the game, but we just kept on ploughing forwards until we got the breakthrough. Rock solid at the back with Matic in front and Rashford outstanding of the bench. Let's keep up the good work!!

Dominant again. Great subs.

A win that a year ago would be a draw, particularly after missing the PK.

We have such strength in depth it's unreal. I truly believe this could be our year. We dominated from start to finish and our defensive unit is so strong that we will always have chances to win games. Onwards and upwards.

Very happy. Hope we continue where we left off once the international break is over. Still can't believe we haven't conceded yet. Great stuff

3 wins, 9 points, 10 goals, none conceded, all of the forwards have scored, Mkhi assisting, Pogba and Matic dominating, Bailly and Jones looking solid, De Gea limited to a couple of his ridiculous saves when games are already won.

I like this season.

Is this the first time that we've shutout the opposition the opening three games of a league campaign?

Edit: Apparently not, 05/06 we did it too.

Nice. 10 bucks saying one of matic, pogba, baily or martial reports back injured post international break.
Martial wasn't chosen..

Worried it's Jones or Smalling comes back injured...

Great win and thoroughly deserved, but I reckon this showed why we won't win the league.

We need to upgrade both FBs massively. Shaw or Mitchell may be the answer on the left but we need a different option on the right urgently. Valencia lacks the skill and precision against packed defences.

Our creative ballplayers are also miles behind City's - Mata and mkhi can't hold a candle to the two silvas or kdb. so when teams sit deep against us all we can do is cross or knock it long to lukaku. At times it was like the moyes Fulham game today. I'd definitely think about a bid for mahrez.

That said, lots of reasons to be positive. Great start.
