Went to kill the game from the very beginning. Still required De Gea brilliance to rescue is from a loss.

Rubbish football. Although it was exactly what most expected.

Point and clean sheet against a Pool side who have recently ripped Arsenal and Chelsea a new one seems pretty good to me.

Good starting 20-30 min of the game. Liverpool had the better chances. I feel we were a bit lucky, a few defensive lapses. Not much threat going forward, no chances. Felt we missed Mata. Just no creative forcea up top. But overall a decent performance. Herrera MOTM.

DDG, with Herrera and Valencia played well in the defensive duties but no one else can come of the pitch with any credit

Mourinho got tactics spot on. Shame we lacked creativity in final 3rd and didn't have options like Mkhi and Martial to bring on late. I thought in first half, we were slightly better but 2nd half we didn't do enough and Liverpool shaded it.

Despite the massive love in beforehand for Klopp he had no answers to Mourinho.

Would have taken a draw beforehand, but I wish we had shown a bit more adventure.

De Gea made two excellent saves, Valencia with an absolutely amazing, match-saving tackle, and Herrera continues to show why so many of us were raving about him over the past two seasons.

And if you want one big moment to fall to anyone it would have been Zlatan. Can't believe he fluffed that opportunity.

Boring as feck. Pogba useless. Good defense. Herrera very good. Rooney lost his man twice in the 16 minutes he played.

Typical Mourinho game, not sure why many expected any different.
That's a genuine concern

It was a mourinho performance

We have seen it a million times before

I'm pretty content but possibly the most forgettable Utd v Liverpool game I've ever seen

Decent point given the pre match hype around Liverpool.

Herrera, Valencia, DDG, Young and Fellaini did well.

Very concerned about pogba. Ibra was rubbish.

For all our domination in the first half we made no real chances. They had a few, De Gea to the rescue..

Typical Mourinho away performance though, I thought he got it spot on with the limited resources we had available in attack today.

Can't believe I stayed up for this one. Biggest marketing fraud ever.

Am I the only who's getting really impatient with Pogba? Still early days?

Also, Herrera is a vice-captain in the making.

I guess that result will have to do..

If we were on more points I would be very happy with this draw, however I'm a little disappointed we didn't do more in attack. Zlatan and Pogba were under par in my opinion, Zlatan missed another great chance which would have made a huge difference like in the Stoke game. I suppose a point gained is better than no points at all.

What was the game plan? Head tennis the ball into the back of the net?

I struggle to understand how a United fan could find a match against Liverpool boring.
I was actually really impressed with us tonight, thought we looked disciplined and tidy on the ball. Give us a few month and I think we'll be a real force.

Pogba was not very effective in the hole. He needs to dictate the game from midfield and be given the freedom to surge forward instead.
