Newcastle played a pretty good game to be fair to them. But we were ruthless, and then defended extremely well. I thought our use of the ball was pretty sloppy today, we left a number of counterattacking opportunities on the table which I'm sure the manager won't be pleased about. We were a bit too eager to find the forward pass.

That said it doesn't really matter today, it was absolutely about winning.
