Frustrating more than anything else. Stoke love a battle and with these conditions, we played right into their hands. Too many wasted aerial balls and we gave away possession cheaply in their half. Another disappointing away result for us and unless we start turning them into wins, we'll go no higher in the table.

Shit game all around really, too scrappy and final ball was awful. Always a hard place to go to so a draw isn't the worst result, it's just a disappointment that we've drawn the last 3 away games when we should have won 2 of them really.

Di Maria should be back soon, which is a huge positive. Falcao looked sharp, and Herrera looked good when he came on. Everyone else was decent at best.

Another painful game to watch. Sunday League quality from Louis and the players.

Not even near to being good enough. Just embarrassing.

5 points in 3 games over the Christmas period is seriously bad. We need some new players in the next window that can bring in the fast transition from defence to attack. We just can't counter attack team with pace anymore.

It's been a well under par festive period.

Terrible today and some extremely strange decisions from LvG.

Our away form is awful. Yet some people don't seem to think it's not a problem.

horrible, frustrating thing to watch. these draws are killing us.

sick of the 3-5-2 now. slow passing ending in a long ball from deep with no real pace to latch onto them anyway.

Awful performance (as is becoming the custom away from home), no pace, and a non-existent attacking threat. That being said, we lost here last year...

We drew. You look at the long term trend, not the knee jerk emotional reaction following a draw at Stoke.
 I am in tears right now. It's not the result that worries me, it's our style of play; we have no pace.

Terrible performance.

3-5-2 and Van Gaal's substitutions have been awful and have cost us a lot of points. The soone her finds an another philosophy, the better.

Stoke deserved to win. The better team, more chances and should have had a penalty. To our credit, we managed to not lose despite having Jonny Evans in our team.

a draw at Stoke is usually considered a decent result in fairness.

Rubbish game though, have to feel sorry for those Stokies who watch that sh1t every week

It was horrendous. I'm knackered hungover and it was almost putting me back to sleep at times. Really poor performance.

1 try each in today's early rugby premiership clash. Stoke City RC had their backs play a kicking game and their front row kept the United pack busy. The grass was in an ok state for a game of union.

Those Subs killed us. Falcao was our more lively forward, and bringing on Adnan effected our shape and he was also very poor.

We've got all this attacking talent but the build up play is mainly done by our centre backs. It's quite baffling.

just as i predicted 1-1. We need to go back to a back 4. Need new defenders and substitute players on merit.

Tottenham and stoke away aren't exactly walk over games in fairness

The style of play is dictated by the availability of match fit players who can play consistently to gain a bit of momentum with LvG's system. We have yet to have this all year.

Horrible, horrible game. Crazy to take Falcao off over van Persie, it just made no sense at all. Another two points dropped which is incredibly frustrating. 3rd is certainly looking like the best we can hope for this season, could have been different if we weren't so crap away from home. Considering our attacking players we're not scoring enough goals and just not looking good enough at all really.

Glad we didn't lose.
That's all I have to say.

Southampton and Arsenal drawing would be great.

Livid. Another 2 points gone. We've been sucked back into the threat of missing top 4 when we had a good position to make 3rd place our own.

Maybe LvG has a point about fatigue over this period. Our results have been quite poor and performances havent been to what we expect.

Oh and Januzaj needs to go out on loan ASAP

The difference between the way we play of late and how we did against hull is nuts.

Dodgy, panicky and very unorganized looking at the back and offered very little of a threat going forward which is hardly a surprise given Rooney and RvP didn't look up for it at all today.

Not to sure about taking off Falcao the only player that looked like pulling something off for us today either. Replacing him with Januzaj might have paid off if Januzaj wasn't so poor when it came to crosses, through balls etc. Over all a 1-1 draw seems a fair result.

LVG should have rotated a bit more over this Christmas period.

Weird to bring Falcao off.

Rooney was poor.

Least were through the festive period now. Onwards and upwards.

Too much respect given to the opponents yet again. We never took risks to get forwards and really test them.

We don't have pace and we yet again faded In the second half. Clearly the fitness of our players has been shit this season with all the injuries but also the fact that we actually play worse in the second half when dealing with successive matches in a few days span. Not the Manchester United of the Fergie era that's for sure.

Please oh please can we go back to a four man backline so that we can actually play some proper attacking football. There is too much dithering with the ball from our back 3 who all look uncomfortable with making decisions. It might give us pretty possession stats but it does feck all for our chances created.

Not according to Crouch and Shawcross. They said the conditions were poor and didn't allow for them to play football. "Back to the old school days" said Crouch because of the weather.

Our players did poorly. Many wasted passes and too many fouls.
