We simply don't win that game without Bruno. He really could make all the difference as to if we play CL next season.

Thought James had his best game for bloody ages too.

Very happy. Happy new year.
He did indeed. It can only be positive if he James goes back to his early season

Sloppy first half, usual issues with lower quality teams sitting deep and pressing us high which we struggle with.. Brunos pen settled us and they had to come out and have a go.. very good second half. BRUNO mom he is pure quality. What a signing... Another good game for Luke Shaw he was our best defender and looked good going forward. Awesome goal form MARTIAL and great play form Greenwood to score too... Good to see MCT back. Let’s push on now for 4th..

5th baby!
Yess! Stay where we are & hope the football powers don't bottle city's punishment (even city themselves know they're guilty as sin, they'll just fight with fire and hope the powers bottle it) - then we're in the Champions League Baby!!!!

Maybe Fernandes will offer more solutions to break teams down at home, but it was Watford, a bit of luck needed to avoid more injuries until the end of the season.

Shaw was great, Bruno as well. If we can score first, we really are a different team - solid three points

Started off awful as usual but then settled well. Almost everyone improved after that, including the diabolical Lindelof. Bruno definitely has improved our quality. Needs better players around him.

Nice to get routine win against a team we should be getting a routine win against. Fernandes fantastic, hopefully he can keep it up because we need players that will scare the opposition and inspire our own lot, will be interested to see if he ever gets to play with Pogba.

Over a dogshyte side, but a solid win.

Bruno is pure class. Are we ever going to see Pogba on the same pitch with the Portuguese maestro? If so, opponents be shatting themselves.

It appeared the team has concentrated around Bruno. Keep it up and we might have solution in breaking down bus. So long Pogba.

Good game overall, but what the hell the defense was doing in the first few minutes?? Lindelof hoofing first time to Ole in the 2nd minute under no pressure was ridiculous!!!

A decent win against one of the lesser sides, which is refreshing in itself. Some decent performances as well, especially from Bruno, Shaw and James - who had his best game in a couple of months.

Good stuff.

Laboured in the first half. Much better in the 2nd. Bruno made the difference. We finally beat a bottom table team.

Good to watch today. Bruno is a big solution to some big problems and he should really make a big difference not only for the rest of this season but imagine when he’s fully settled and our forwards are more used to what he’s going to be offering.

great goal by Martial. Great goal.

Some good performances all over the pitch today.

As is often the case it was a slog for us to get the first goal, but once we did and Watford had to Phillip Schofield and we played our better stuff on the counter. There were some good signs of an understanding developing between Martial and Bruno as well so all in all a good day for us.

The key for us is to get two other guys that can create like Bruno. Would love to see Rashford at the end of his passes.

With Bruno, Fred, McTominay, and Williams, we have four players who have a bit of fight/intensity in them. We really need this.

Emphatic win. Played very well and totally deserved the 3 points.

Poor first half and a decent second. Fernandes is class obviously, great goals from Martial and Greenwood too. Thought Ighalo did well when he came on holding it up and playing more like a traditional striker and whilst I still think Dan James was poor, he’s better on the left than right.
Mostly I enjoyed no Lingard or Pereira in the squad at all - nice and ruthless by Ole after their performances.

some tough fixtures ahead so we needed the win -we really need to be looking at a minimum of 6 points vs Everton, City and Spurs if we are gonna stay in the race for top four.

Very good 3 points that puts us in a great position for a top 4 challenge. Bruno influencing our play heavily, SMT coming in after long layoff. Good stuff all around.

As usual, played well in patches. Those patches are much bigger now. A lot of players are performing. Give it a time. Ole haters, reconsider your beliefs. Players are progressing, it is a sign of good coaching.

Solid professional and comprehensive win. Ole building our next great team one brick at a time.

Bruno, Matic and Shaw were all excellent. And two supercilious goals to drool over too. And McT fit again.

Great day!

I thought our central four (Lindelof, Maguire, Fred and Matic) played as if they had necked a litre of vodka each. Constantly losing the ball under the press, long after Watford’s game plan was obvious.

A shitty 3-0 win, which you’d take every week, of course.

It looked like one of those games, they pressed us really high up and our guys were flabbergasted. Not sure how Deeney never got that shot or pass away for an easy goal. There's a reason why Watford have the lowest goals scored, I guess. Then when they did score, there was just resignation for me and I had no idea it was under VAR evaluation. Suddenly NO GOAL! Saved again! Then Martial did something weird with his feet, no idea what, and it was a lot more comfortable from there.

Bit rough in the first half and a few of the better performers in recent weeks were a bit quiet (AWB, Fred and Matic were a bit below par) but so many positives elsewhere. Shaw was unusually good today, Bruno looks great, James looked better than he has for a while, Martial keeps scoring, even a clean sheet. This squad isn't a million miles away from competing, been a long time since i felt that

For me, the relief is that we didn't bottle it. So many times we've been in this situation this season and feck it up. Let's hope keep shooting straight. Feck turning corners.
