We got Traore’d, but most who do live to tell the tale. He’s a unique player with no end product, so not worried about him giving our midfielders nightmares.

Good games for DDG, Varane and AWB. Massive goal from Greenwood. Bit annoyed that the manager just changed forwards and not the system.

Good time for internationals.

Poor performance, great result. Winning after a poor performance is a positive, but this level can't become the norm. Time will tell if this was just a bad day at the office.
It was a great result, but surely they can see that certain things don't work, so don't do them and certain players are not good enough.

Fred was terrible for a few mistakes early on. But can he be blamed for the rest of the team being unable to string together 3 passes or create any chances for the whole 90 minutes
Agreed. Not saying he was great - but I have no idea how he is singled out. Defensively - he was covering a lot. On the ball, yeah it can be improved.

same with James - he could have been better but at least he was making runs and getting into positions. You can’t say the same about Sancho

I am glad that we nicked all 3 points. Ole is the luckiest man in football

Wolves like to sing silver lining, so lets go! Silver linings :-
1) DDG is world class again. A double save as good as a goal.
2) Varane imperious at the back. None shall pass.
3) AWB played well.
4) Super Mase is on fire
5) Viva Ronaldo!

Absolute shite performance, good result.

Well done to the rest of the team for scuppering Freds best efforts to gift them a goal in the first 20 mins.

That's a big win. A bad performance, but a big win. Keeps the mood positive before the break. This had the typical draw written all over it with Bruno and Pogba not finding their passing radars. But we got away with that thanks to the return of DeGod, AWB's heroics and Mason being Mason. The boy is an absolute star and shows that the pre-season has really given him the boost he needed.

The difference between the two sides overall play was the midfield. Not just Wolves' midfielders' range of passing, but the speed of the passes and the quick turns to get away from players really stood out compared to ours. Just highlights our needs even more.

To end on a positive note, the away unbeaten record is great to have. Would've been bittersweet if we got there with a draw, but we got there with a win, so it feels fantastic. That sort of resiliency is rare so I applaud the team and the coaching staff for that achievement.

Difficult game with Wolves looking very good in spite of their lack of points.

DDG back to his best and great to see Greenwood scoring again.

If Pogba could retain the ball, he would be unreal. He was the one really with the passes today that unlocked the defence of Wolves. But then he would get casually caught in possession.

He's singled out because a lot of caf posters love to have scapegoats.

That is my big gripe with him. He will not admit it is the system that isn't working.

That's a worse attitude than what he's complaining about.
We have some bell ends on this forum who put their own agenda ahead of the team
I’m happy we’ve won, grinded out a win and never gave up. Sure we can’t continue like it but it’s good to see this attitude from the team. Pleased with how things are going and it’s only going to get better, even better if we get a DM in too!

At the end of the day, if we win the league by 3 points, no one would care the manner in which we got this result. It’s 3 points on the board.

Varane what a player
And Bruno had a shocker
David may be the best keeper
But Mason is our savior

We won and that was crucial.

We need to play much better though.

Sourness saying it was a clear foul and should have been disallowed

Greenwood is an absolute star. Needs to keep playing no matter what position.

Only forward who looked anything like decent. James Bruno and Sancho were all awful.

Can’t ask Ronaldo and Varane to play in a team with no clue how to play football. Embarrassing.
