Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"
Surprised he made it back - @BeforeKeanetherewasRobson looked geared up for him.
Yeah, I said yesterday (when EAP was harassing me) that I had it down to three... it was Robertson (chose), McGrain (great player obviously but I'm happy with Irwin) or Hughes. For me, it was which would give me the clearest upgrade.

Thought about Hughes as (1) decent player and (2) could be a homer/vote pleaser, BUT decided not to as Channon has lots of attributes too, scored more goals plus I have confidence in the football knowledge of the voters on Caf to recognise a good player, United or not.

True. Robertson was the biggest upgrade and the right call. It was more the Molby pick, but I can see how that will support the midfield to do what they do best.

Yeah, with Molby and how I may line up, Hughes would've been fine (and tbh, wouldve liked to have kept Hill as really liked him) but in the end, Robertson was the right call.....

....and stopped EAP from picking him and causing a Tourettes style meltdown which was a bonus.

I'm pretty happy that McGrain lasted to us. Clear upgrade on Rice both defensively and offensively. I thought Grimes or you are the ones that could nab him before our turn, but happy that you looked elsewhere.

yeah. There were many attacking options apart from the obvious ones - Gray and Lorimer would most likely be unpicked.

Option.2... I could quickly cobble something together today and do it tomorrow (so Tues/Wed)..... IF starts anywhere from 24-30 hours from now (as busy Wed then out all day Thursday)

?
yeah could work mate.

I think we shouldn't go with it on the weekend, as usually draft games doesn't get much traction then let alone more specialized one like this.

That or next Monday or something.

Your call, fine with tomorrow/Wed as long as starts within 30 hours from now.

EDIT - just got to decide on formation (out of 3) and which XI suits..... day job of looking after multi-millions of risky commercial customers is easy compared to this.
