Matuidi is a player that can be very useful in the right setup, especially in big games. But it gets more and more obvious he can’t ever be a starter for a top team that plays proactive football.
Well, he's only 17, but even so I have this feeling he's going to become a great player for Spurs. Hopefully this season, but the next one if not. But in any case it's good a to have another out-and-out striker (besides Kane) who is actually mobile .Parrot, please be your season young man, doing well.
Too soon but they are not playing the same way. It’s quite evident.Way to soon to see Sarri’s influence. This looks exactly like last year’s Juve
that’s ridiculous. Was he the same ref we had? useless idiotsHow was that not a pen?
PSG wants him back apparently Yeah if the manager wants his team to be possession based then Matuidi will standout like a sore thumb. He'll be on the benchMatuidi is going to struggle a bit on this style. Tbh I was watching this because my biggest curiosity this season is to see how Ronaldo adapts to Sarri.
And I suspect he won’t be the only one struggling to adapt.PSG wants him back apparently Yeah if the manager wants his team to be possession based then Matuidi will standout like a sore thumb. He'll be on the bench
Typical EPL divers.Stonewall pen not given for Spurs
Kean been linked with EvertonHiguain won’t stay there I suspect, what about Kean?
High wages, they need to sell, but Sarri likes him.Juve should make an effort and keep Higuain. He’s their best striker
Was just thinking that tooThis ref is something else
That could be almost anything!Kane does a Rooney.
He scored from the half way line. That was ridiculousThat could be almost anything!
I presumed it was an overhead kick.He scored from the half way line. That was ridiculous
I agree that was impressive by a young Spurs side, but Juve played without 5-6 starters. That goal from Kane was sublime.
But more importantly, when you consider that Juve played mostly their strongest line-up and Spurs played many youngsters, that was a very decent performance from us.
Oliver Skipp was especially impressive IMO.
I can't see them finishing above 3rd, can you?Spurs will be a force to be reckoned with this season.
