Level is not offside. His shoulder was level with the West Ham defenders shoulder. How's it ridiculous? It's the right decision.

You're like Johnathon Pearse arguing with goal line technology. That decision was obviously wrong.
It was his upper chest/ shoulder area that was offside. How can he be offside? You can’t score with your arm.
It wasn't level, it was ever so slightly ahead. If it was level it wouldn't have been ruled.Level is not offside. His shoulder was level with the West Ham defenders shoulder.
They knew the rules before the season started. If decisions are as consistent and pernickety as today's then no one will complain. That’s a load of bollocks that is. It cannot be this picky otherwise nearly every goal will be cancelled. This is crazy.
What do you do? Say 10 millimeters offside should be ok?Wow if that is the standard for offside this season then this is going to suck.
Every goal will be checked. If this is the route we're going, every goal should be checked by VAR. As long as its consistent.
Only if it starts an attacks rather than continues one or if possession changes to the other teamIs the ref not supposed to stop play if the ball hits them now?
So they canWhy does the premier league season start so early compared to the rest of europe?
Stop being magnanimous in victory Watch that decision cost City points now.Correct call, great decision and exactly why football needs VAR.
Eh.. they will be. That's sort of the whole point. If this is the route we're going, every goal should be checked by VAR. As long as its consistent.
We can rebuild himHow? Image clearly showed offside.
Maybe the lines weren't correct? But they have the technology.
Not a good comparison for me. How do you even judge where the shoulders end and the arm starts on camera? That's never going to be accurate down to the millimetre, while the call itself was so tight. You're like Johnathon Pearse arguing with goal line technology.
VAR will check every goal for offsides and the like. Offsides are black and white, there's no "oh but it was close and pretty much level". Pretty much is not quite there is it? Offside, even by millimeters, is offside.Hate City but if VAR is disallowing that it's a joke. Thought it was for obvious errors.
yeah, but what are small margins? that then makes the decisions by VAR subjective. If VAR is to be used, then it has to make objective decisions. Thus, an offside with even a micrometer should be given as an offsideThat should be a goal for City. Var shouldn't be trying to over rule things at such small margins.
Every goal is checkedIf this is the route we're going, every goal should be checked by VAR. As long as its consistent.
That wasn't the norm this season as there was no World Cup nor European Championship otherwise the CL final would have been played earlierSo they canhave a winter breakwait three weeks between end of league and European finals
What is he supposed to do then, run back to his own half? He has to be behind the ball and he was. Otherwise teams could basically defend by running away from play. For me, Jesus was offside anyway. Hate this offside rule. I know by the laws of the game he’s on, but standing two yards in front of the last defender, in the middle of the goal, ready to receive a pass when the wide player gets in front. It’s stupid imo.
ThisLook at those idiots celebrating the fact they are losing 0-2 instead of 0-3
