United have been so bad on the ball. It looks like they spent all week training without it.
It does look like that, but City made Chelsea look like that too a few weeks ago. They have this sort of suffocating dominating performance in them and they do can do it against any opponent.

Clear penalty missed on Jesus, VAR and Oliver blind? Interested to see the distance covered stats for both teams. City weren't near top gear but very comfortable.

Playing against what is essentially 6 midfielders with no striker, need to match up with City to compete. Similar happened at Stamford Bridge when we had Werner and Lukaku up top. They just dominante the ball.

United should never have gotten that 4th sub.

They've either allowed a concussed player to continue playing after medical evaluation or they've tried to pass off an otherwise regular injury as a concussion in order to get the extra sub.

True, that was a horrible match to watch.

A machine-like performance from City wich would be a scarry thing for all the opponents if they have a lethal finishing. Sadly they dont. This City side needs badly a Haaland type of a finisher...hell imagine Cristiano Ronaldo today how many would have scored if he played for City?!

Impressive stuff by City to outplay Chelsea, Liverpool (Liverpool were the better team in the 2nd half but City were clearly the better team overall) and Utd away from home, and pick up 7 points in those 3 games.

I agree with earlier comments that if they had a prolific striker, they probably run away it and win the title easier, but thankfully they don't.

It's not guaranteed that City would dominate games like this with a Haaland type of finisher in place of an extra midfielder.

Okay.

Guys, if you ever see a medical team allow a concussed player back on to the pitch to play on for 5 minutes, don't ever comment. It's strange and you need to get a grip.

Unless it's a City player and United win 2-0. In which case it'd probably be fine.

It'd be interesting to look up the thread from when Spurs done it with Lloris and see some of the opinions on it...

Exactly, they're so dominant because the front 6 are all midfielders or able to play like one. It's Pep dream football. Outwork other teams too. That system can be got at, though it's difficult.

I've just seen there are only three 3pm games today but four games tomorrow? Why is Arsenal/Watford on a Sunday and on TV when neither played midweek? Would much rather watch Everton/Spurs or Leeds/Leicester.

Genuinely believe Kai Havertz is a dud. Him and Werner. But the team is so well structured and layered that they mitigate the damage.

Loving this after match with Keane, Richards and Souness, give them a couple of pints each and it's like a bunch of blokes down the boozer

Spurs and Leicester played Thursday, game was probably decided at the start of the season.

Tbh I'd rather watch Arsenal v Watford than Rafa's Everton v anyone

"Brentford will give anyone a game this season!" all the plaudits said after they squirmed a draw against us. That's going well. Now lost to Chelsea, Leicester, thumped away at Burnley and losing to current bottom Norwich at home.

Is that to Ole  ?
The one and only. The Protected One

Unfortunately, the protection may be unwinding now. We did our best, sweet prince. Neville, Keane, Scholes, Rio, Redcafe all did their best. :(

He was alright for us last season and then loaned to Villa. Was actually our most in form midfielder at the time and remember thinking that Frank had just signed his own p45.

It's your team's fault, should have stopped at 2-0.

You try stopping when you're about to cum after a marathon zen session. :p Under the circumstances I think we did well. We should have won that game 12-0 minimum.
