It has to be a mental block surely, a PL player must know the football basics of receiving a passSomebody needs to tell Uniteds midfielders when their team has the ball its ok to move away from the blue shirts to receive it.

Rüdiger is probably the league's biggest cnut at this point
I mean he plays the shithouse role to absolute perfection.

Thats a fair amount for Chelsea, I'd imagine defensive teams like them constantly overperform their xg to some extent though.
Okay, this is has 0-2 written all over it now.
This is just ignorance. We are not a defensive team, we don’t even play with a DM and our wingbacks (so far) are outperforming most wingers in the league. You don’t get that by being defensive.
As far as XG goes. It’s not one of the 10 commandments. It’s a measurement. If a team out performs xg for a couple of games it’s a purple patch, if they outperform xg for an entire year then the XG is incorrect and the data needs to be corrected.
Not if you bring on some of your actual first teamers.
Said pre kick off the actual Chelsea first 11 wasn't that great.
Likes of Werner and RLC aren't championship winning players really. Chalolbah having a nice run but again would've got long odds in August of him being a regular starter for Chelsea.
United bringing on Ronaldo plus taking their sweet time over every set piece and throw in. They'll see out the game, even if we being on Pulisic, Havertz, Lukaku etc.
