Yep, not to mention City's equaliser came from a dive which I hope will be punished during the week.Credit to West Ham - however shite City were by their standards, West Ham did far better than anyone expected.

This. The irony of United fans spouting the same bollocks opposition fans used to say about us (until after Sir Alex’s final season) is hilarious. You sound like opposition fans when we were winning things.
Against the worst team in the league arguably.Stop being so dense.
They won, whilst playing terribly.
Pogba is gonna miss the derby as well.I'm surprised City has 42 points at the moment, they really aren't that good. But then again, they've benefited from Morata going off injured, Mané getting a red etc. Otherwise I doubt they'd be leading with 8 points.
Too fecking late!Should be fine now. I tossed the laptop out the window.
It's on us to stop them becoming a dynasty.This. The irony of United fans spouting the same bollocks opposition fans used to say about us (until after Sir Alex’s final season) is hilarious.
City - much to my fecking disgust - have got a quality squad that’s got the wind in their sails. Won’t last for ever and hopefully we’re the ones to finally smash them.
Yep. I just peeked in here to check how the game was going and it's like fecking RAWK. The bitterness is unreal - I bet City fans are pissing themselves reading the drivel in here.This. Yeah figured as much. Anyway, as the cliche goes..."You want to play against the best."No. Kompany, Fernandinho and Sane were the only three at risk of suspension and the first two were on the bench with Sane avoiding a card.
When has he ever done that? The closest thing would be the treble season at inter, when he lost the h2h in rome and were overtaken at the top...for 2 weeksIf we can stay close enough, a chance will arise, and if we're ready when it does, José'll come up from behind and take em.
That's what José does, he's ruthless in that role. And as a United fan, and also as a human being who dislikes where citeh's money comes from, I want to watch it happen.
It looked a dive but the goal was not linked to that actionYep, not to mention City's equaliser came from a dive which I hope will be punished during the week.
Because if you can win whilst being utterly crap then it's a valuable skill and shows you can grind out results when you need to?Against the worst team in the league arguably.
I don't know how anyone can have watched City in the last week and thought "Yeah they'll go unbeaten".
I would say in the Universe.I'm curious to find out how a team that creates 3 or 4 times more goal scoring chances than their opponent can be considered lucky to score 1 more goal than said opponent.
If anything, West Ham were lucky their goalkeeper had a great day, or this, based on the 2nd half alone could have been a 4-1 win easily.
Fan bias aside, City are atm the best team in the world based both on results and level of play.
Only a little. To be fair United should be taking some confidence from that fact we seem to struggle against sides who are turning up well organised, are effective on the counter, and have the height to damage from set pieces. The game is ready made for this United team.Yep. I just peeked in here to check how the game was going and it's like fecking RAWK. it's the sheer amount of players that can win them games that makes wins like this look sustainableThey have been very lucky these previous games and anyone who denies this is either a City fan or Pep fanboy. If we were winning like this our fans will be saying we're waiting to be found out.
Next game is immense. It's up to us to stop them then.
Not directly, and it was a dive. West Ham should've had possession, instead Dean gave the impetus to City by awarding them a FK. The scored from the outcome of that.It looked a dive but the goal was not linked to that action
Based on any scientific data available to us, yea, you could say that as well.I would say in the Universe.
The question here is why this is applicable for City only but when we win while being crap we always expect our team to get found out sooner or later ?Because if you can win whilst being utterly crap then it's a valuable skill and shows you can grind out results when you need to?
Add those crap performances where they win to the great performances where they win by a lot and you get an image of a side that can go unbeaten?
Not hard is it?
I don't think they will go unbeaten but I don't think they'll lose very many and there'll be more games like this where they're shite and still win.
Barca fans. gotta love them.Based on any scientific data available to us, yea, you could say that as well.
You can be as condescending as you want but it doesn't make you right.Because if you can win whilst being utterly crap then it's a valuable skill and shows you can grind out results when you need to?

Only 2 points lost is incredible, they've been good but not that good. That expected goals table has them slightly overachieving in terms of points, and I think that's about right. But it also has United overachieving even more, and that's also spot on I'd say.I'm surprised City has 42 points at the moment, they really aren't that good. But then again, they've benefited from Morata going off injured, Mané getting a red etc. Otherwise I doubt they'd be leading with 8 points.
Precisely, and that's the reason why City will almost certainly win the title: they have the greatest concentration of great players in the PLWinning while playing badly is not a skill, its just having better players than the other team. All the times united won while playing badly wasn't a title winning mentality, it was the gap between the quality of players showing. Title winning teams win while playing badly because they almost always have the better players than most of the teams in the league.
All of the saves Adrian made were ones you expect a competent goalkeeper to make.I'm curious to find out how a team that creates 3 or 4 times more goal scoring chances than their opponent can be considered lucky to score 1 more goal than said opponent.

Really? Then why was the NBC commentator (a very high quality broadcast btw) saying that West Ham's keeper was challenging De Gea vs Arsenal in terms of the best goalkeeping performance this round? It was a great performance. A normal performance instead of a great one and City score 4 goals considering the amount of chances they created. 95% of the 2nd half looked like a training attack vs defense drill. All of the saves Adrian made were ones you expect a competent goalkeeper to make.
It was nothing like the level of DDG performance, don't think he made any saves that a competent keeper wouldn't haveReally? Multiverse? Even though I hear City is quite good on Earth 19I would say in the Universe.
Well he must be smoking something. City had a few long range strikes and they were fairly standard for a goalkeeper to deal with.Really? He may have hiperbolized it for sure, but it was a great game from West Ham's goalie. What?!
Maybe because he’s a moron.
