All those who said Maddison in a top team would be far better than Mount will feel pretty vindicated today.

Pretty poor second half from United. Spurs looked like they were fitter.

Looking forward to the City Newcastle game.

He does track back, I’ll give him that. He doesn’t really do much else though. Who’s that kid that came on with Martial? He looks much better.
Pellistri. He's one of those players that the Caf loves for some reason.

Newcastle only 10/3 to win this, interested when a prem team was last as shortly priced to win at Man. City than today.

Another season cheering on the blue moon then
Those days should be over no? Liverpool do not look like PL winners so cheering on City accomplishes nothing I would think. Why risk them winning yet another treble and pushing your honors further into distant memory. It’s time City’s run come to an end and let the rest battle it out no matter who the winners may be.

Very impressive how Kovacic was integrated so well in City's team. He plays with calm and more simple and has more confidence all-around.

Honestly couldn't care less about 115 Charges' success. Rather that hollow club wins another treble than risk you guys winning anything.

Why does Grealish bother shooting at all? They’re so predictable and so easily blocked

Watching City immediately after Man United makes me feel shit. So that's how football is actually played, huh ?

Other than the fact it's City which ruins it, it's nice watching non United games to see how football can be played .

And every year we just seem to get further away

Desperate half of football, one moment of quality.

Newcastle time wasting on every goal kick though and ref doing nothing, yet again new rules not being applied consistently.

On the plus side Kovacic fits in our midfield just nicely and Foden having a better game in the KDB role. Despite the poor half, none of our players been really bad (maybe Erling?)

Amazing how many of the transfers are absolute hits
It is shocking what can be accomplished when you are a football club who have people in charge who actually care about football related stuff ( like winning). You hire competent people who in turn hire competent people. You work in an environment with talented, goal driven people who care about similar thing ( football); the talented people thrive in this environment and want to come to work. You work hard, and you are rewarded with personal success ( money, fame, trophies). Other talented, goal-driven people see it and want to come there. Even people who have been nomads ( pep moved on every 3 years) will stay longer.
Not too long ago, United were this team.

Foden is tearing it up tonight. Great game.

They're not scoring though.
