Premier League Gameweek 29

Cheating prick Gakpo, should be booked.

Definitely. I think VAR has largely put an end to yellow cards for diving in the box, not that it happened too often anyway.

They know VAR will look at the incident so will let that clear it up from a penalty/no penalty perspective and the thought of a yellow for diving goes out of the window for the ref on the pitch.

Looked an obvious dive a first look anyway but I think that's something that's been happening.

VAR can't recommend yellows for diving of course. Maybe they should be able to, but then people would complain that it's slowing the game down too much or that they're interfering too often.

Elliot's overrated and not good enough, Henderson is past it, and Gakpo, despite us making him look like prime Henry, is not a centre forward.
Gakpo wasnt even effective as a centre forward in the Dutch league. Hilarious transfer really.

Speaking of Gakpo, can we change the rules so VAR can recommend a yellow for diving?

That's literally a visual representation of how city fans see their successes (Guardiola) and every other club who knows that they are ultimately meaningless because they cheated to achieve them (Liverpool subs)

Things could really fall apart for Liverpool if they lose badly here …

City repeatedly get calls in the PL and the CL. Rodri for example should have gotten a red card - two clear tactical fouls that were yellows. He literally stopped illegally Liverpool breaking for a second time. In Italy, Germany this would have been a clear second booking.

They repeatedly get key calls in their favor in PL and CL and nobody makes a sound. They get a huge break when it counts and then win the game - and then everybody forgets the key moments in the game of how it was won.

Finally some changes. Should have happened when it went 2-1. Crazy stuff by klopp

Have to laugh at the many Liverpool fans in recent days that was saying on twitter that trent alexander-arnold and Robinson are better full backs than Denis Irwin ever was.

Man City really must have about 95% attendees who are tourists or been given tickets my someone they know. The atmosphere is as dead as covid stadiums.

OP said away from home, especially against Liverpool we seem to have a mental issue going to Anfield

Fair enough. I would say the City one was a carry on from last season, though, as we have had some good results against them. Liverpool was a complete collapse, though.
