Okay so 12 and 9 points behind those two CL spots, we really need to do a run in similar to lfc last season
I can see us having a decent April and May but a run like Liverpool made, I don't think that'll happen.

Villa lost the last two matches and Spurs lost their previous match...
A draw and a loss for Villa actually.

The problem is even with their very spotty league form recently (losses to Spurs and us at home, draw to West Ham), they’ve still gotten 10/18 out of the last 6 matches. Even if they do worse than that in their remaining 8 matches and somehow only get 11-12 pts (assuming they win today), that puts them at 70-71 pts. For us to reach 71 pts we need 24 out of the remaining 30, and that’s before taking GD into account.

The Fulham loss pretty much killed any chance we had of CL football.

This game week was always going to be one were both Villa and Spurs would most likely win.
As long as we win later tonight it's nothing lost or gained, bigger fixtures to come, we just need to keep up and be ready for when they do drop points.

We've got a chance if we go on an actual winning run. We certainly can't complain about Villa and Spurs not losing points - because they lost plenty and will lose more.

We’ve been on a winning run.

What you are asking for is a title winning run kind of form. As I’ve already laid out above, we need 2.4 ppg to reach 71, while Villa need 1.5 (Spurs need 1.67)and we still most likely lose out on GD. We’ve averaged 1.68 ppg this season, Arsenal and Liverpool have averaged 2.28 ppg, we can show the best form any team in the league has shown this season in the remaining 10 games and still lose out about 80% of the time if Spurs and Villa just win about half of their remaining games.

We’ve basically just got to keep in touch enough to pounce on Spurs and Villa both having to play Arsenal, Liverpool and City.

One of the pundits should’ve mentioned Garnacho there when Kelly described Mainoo as Utd’s one young bright spark

Too many blown chances by Brentford here which of course will lead to a goal upcoming by united.

That’s ridiculous. Brentford batter them and that happens.

This could transform their season. They have been doing this all season already. Otherwise they´d be in the table where Brentford are. They are a bottom table side that is sniffing top 6 with some incredible BS.
