Have to give credit to Chelsea. They don't lose points the way we do.

United loses points because of itself and a lack of mental fortitude.

Chelsea loses points because the other team's better but they don't play with fear in their hearts.
Just over a week ago they played like complete shit and got battered 3-0 by Sheff Utd.

Since lockdown they've had the harder run in, that's for sure but they've had a more settled squad. That midfield that Sarri assembled isn't half bad. It's not all lampard's team.

Genuinely laughing my head off at 6 Chelsea defenders screaming "KEPAAAAAAAA" whilst he stands on his line instead of dealing with a cross 3 yards from goal

Helps us out that because Wolves need to beat Chelsea to finish top 6.

Just the big fat paycheck and 7 year contract Chelsea gave him.

Christ. And people think we have issues with De Gea!
Difference is we know he's shit and the noises are we're doing something about it (links with Onana, Rajokovic and Cakir).

Judging by Ole's comments he's in denial and is going to keep persisting with DDG and you've even got a ready made replacement on your books!

Come on Wolves do us a favour, makes the City ban overturning even more frustrating

I still have a nasty feeling we lose to Leicester...

Yeah, weird. It’s not like Liverpool to be ludicrously mawkish and sentimental.
Heh. I meant Martin Tyler and the Sky director. Zooming in on his sad little face every other minute. "It looks like Lallana won't get onto the pitch tonight". Yeah, like almost every other night in his Liverpool career.

I don’t think we can sell him. He’s got a huge wage and we would want to recoup a decent bit of change.

So we are 3rd, despite the whole world trying to tell us we made 0 progress because we went from 5th, to 5th, is that right?

Someone who is completely clueless...

Do you think the season started 2 months ago? Pogba has been out majority the season and only the break ensured he was fit enough to play again. Bruno signed at the arse end of Jan.

Since when has the most in form (again, since the restart) equated to "more"?
Has the restart not been part of the season? Are we going to pretend that Fred wasn't having a really good season before lockdown? Are we also going to pretend that Ole wasn't short sighted in summer transfer window, and should have signed Bruno last summer instead of waiting till end of January? Likewise with backup striker? But fortunately for Ole, he still got those players in January for the same season, and the lockdown worked out greatly in our favor with health.

This. They’ve struggled against low block sides all season. Much like United. If only they were playing a low block side in their next game.
Yep I agree

So much shite gets posted on here though. Yes the last week or so we've not been very good and it's been very frustrating, but people acting like Chelsea or Leicester are miles better than us is just such bollocks.

We're all flawed sides, we've all bad bad results although post retart Chelsea and especially Leicester have had much worse results than us.

There's always a way if you try hard enough. You managed to get rid of Sanchez after all.

They'll be some sucker somewhere who will look at his reputation and bite, even if it's just a loan.

But of course Ole will get all the stick while Soopa Frank and even mid-table Artera get the free passes.

Some cracking goals scored in this game.
8 goals and all of them but Wijnaldum and Giroud we're fantastic.
What a Great game to watch.

Depth is even more important Look at how much we’ve struggled the past 4/5 games.
We've struggled because of Ole's man management, and his reluctance to rotate. Fred, and Mctominay are very capable midfield options yet we've still ran Bruno & Pogba into the ground. We've also barely used Ighalo despite him playing well for us. Ighalo came on the 84th minute for us today, despite Rashford being tired, and awful the entire match.

I guess congratulations to us that we got a hard fought point against Moyes' West Ham at home.

Is this a joke? He had more midfield options and more forward options, how is that doing more with less? :houllier:
Do people just have amnesia or are they just that stupid. Chelsea finished top 4 the year before. They may have lost Hazard, but they did get alternative by bringing back their loan players (which they have a lot of). Also, Pulisic was signed before the ban, but only got to play this season right ??

Let us not pretend that Lampard has no options here.

Not really. We have Henderson ready to step in who cost us nothing. You've spent £75m on Kepa on a 7 year deal and now you're going to have to spend similar again to replace him!

Whatever way you look at it its a disaster surely.

Yeah he looked absolutely gutted,I did think he would get on tonight though but Klopp is ruthless. That goal he scored at our place helped them win that title

Erm, yes, I don't think I implied it wasn't. But 2/3 of the season had already been played or have you just conveniently forgotten about that?

So what exactly are you saying? Lampard is a better manager than Ole because of Fred? Lampard is a better manager than Ole because we should have signed Bruno in the summer instead of January? Or Lampard is a better manager than Ole because lockdown worked out well for us?
