No doubt in my mind that the ref listens to the anfield crowd more than anywhere else in football.
Getting? Was like that in the 80s. Contrary to incessantly repeated myth the ground was dead most of the time.I actually think the atmosphere at Goodison is better. Anfield is getting a bit like a place you wait for something to happen rather that encouraging it to happen, a bit like our place at times.
This might be controversial. Do you think the bigger you make the grounds it just means you get more people in who do not contribute to the atmosphere.Getting? Was like that in the 80s. Contrary to incessantly repeated myth the ground was dead most of the time.
We actually have some if the best xG in the league overall. Dyche just likes to play for the 0-0 against big teams.Everton are really bad going forward. Maybe even worse than us.
Burnleyitis is inbred with him.Dyche annoys me, same team as Bournemouth and we could play the same type of football but he makes us play negatively and for a 0-0 rather than push them like they do us.
Plus the bigger grounds tend to belong to the more historically successful clubs whose fan base expect success to unfold before them rather than create an atmosphere that might engender it. Contra that Newcastle fans, for example, have a big ground and really do make a consistent noise. This might be controversial. A lot of derbies are like this now. No bloody fire.Is this a derby? The stadium sounds like a library.
Ref is giving everything to Liverpool today. Proper homer.
Aren’t they meant to be expanding it or something? What’s with the empty top tier?
Well, giving yellows to Everton for nothing.Referee dug himself into a hole with that card to be honest. He’s been giving yellows for nothing challenges
Is it the new stand and not ready for opening yet. What’s with the empty top tier?
