Anyway - back to what I was musing on...
With regard to the draft theme - and the different strategies:
It does look as though I can now land a couple of players that will do much more than simply make up the numbers for me: they will either improve the quality (of course, this is always arguable - it's not like I can go from a genuinely underwhelming player to an obvious vote winner) in an already covered position - OR they will allow me to shuffle certain players around and ultimately have a stronger (at least potentially) XI.
And we're talking picks/rounds 11 and 12 here.
So - yeah, with regard to what @Pat_Mustard and I were talking about earlier...it looks like I was wrong. Or wrongish, at least.
And that's without even mentioning my own - personal - stupid drafting. I could have done much better: the way it looks now, I'll end up with a player on my bench who's a complete waste of a pick (at worst). But that's 100% down to poor drafting on my part.
