Yeah, for sure. It should be unbearable for Neymar to stay at Barca now, after this summer. I can't see him stay after all this drama. Just at the airport he got confronted by angry fans, and he was ready to engage in fighting:

lol has to be one of the easiest guys to take down.

Good with a football yes, but fighting lol

Got to be painful to realise that you're just as vulnerable as anyone else when a guy with a bigger chequebook comes calling. No més que un club després de tot.

What on earth are PSG playing at making this signing before selling off the players they need to?

They are going to be raided to death.

Javier Pastore Offers Neymar the PSG Number 10 Shirt
August 2, 2017 11:28 PM
The Argentina international has informed PSG that Neymar can wear the number 10 shirt "as a welcoming gift."

beIN SPORTS

With Neymar's controversial move to PSG confirmed on Wednesday, one big question remained unanswered for the loyal legion of the fans looking to get the fleet-footed Brazilian's name printed on their 2017-18 replica kits: What number will be wearing?

It's no secret that the former Santos man has his sights on the number 10 shirt - the same number he wears for his national team, but which was denied him at Barcelona because of a certain Lionel Messi.

Well, another Argentinean, Javier Pastore may have put an end to the speculation today by offering the coveted shirt to his new teammate.

Pastore, who joined the Ligue Un side from Palermo in 2011, is willing to make the sacrifice to satiate Neymar ahead of his arrival at the Parc des Princes.

The 28-year-old communicated his decision to Antero Henrique, PSG's newly-appointed sporting director, and Nasser Al Khelaifi, the club's president, with the following statement:

"I would like to offer Neymar my shirt as a welcoming gift. I want him to feel at home and to enjoy himself from the get-go. As the first one here, I want to offer all the support necessary so we can go on and win the Champions League. [The number] isn't a big deal, but it meant a lot for me to wear it and now I want to welcome [Neymar] with this small gesture."

In turn PSG have reportedly assured Pastore that he is an irreplaceable member of the team and that there is no intention to sell him.

What a pussy. He would have been stripped of number 10 anyway, and he knows it.

Martial did the same gesture when Zlatan arrived and there was no big statement about it, likewise Lukaku asking for Zlatans permission.

The same. Age has a big impact.

Younger I was proud to wear a NT shirt. Now, I find it childish.

Wow, that's a very good video.

So your whole defense is Brazilians (4), Motta, Neymar, Lucas. That's 7 who might be playing for first team. Should have made home kit as Yellow :D

Maxwell has retired but joined the recruitment team to convince Brazilian players to join the team.

PSG tried to recruit Pepe as a back-up but opted for a Turkish club (Fenerahce IIRC) so 6 players with the Brazilian citizenship :D

Imagine the media frenzy and marketing that United would gain if we signed a megastar player. Very clever by PSG this and it will see their global fanbase increase too.

Sure, United is the club #1 in the world in terms of global fanbase.

I don't know if United really tried to sign him this year.

Tite Admits Neymar PSG Move Good for Brazil

By Tim Stillman 2017-08-03 18:34:00

Brazil coach Tite has admitted that Neymar’s imminent transfer to Paris Saint Germain could work in the Seleção’s favour- especially with next year’s World Cup in Russia in mind.

PSG have a contingent of Brazilian players in Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Lucas Moura and Dani Alves. Tite thinks the addition of Neymar could help increase the understanding between the players- to Brazil’s benefit.

“Looking at it yes, I will not lie, I think it is good for the Seleção. When you can make these connections from players who play together every week, who know each other on the field, that makes it easier.”

Tite watched Neymar perform in friendlies for Barcelona against the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus and declared himself, “very pleased with the technical performance,” of the player.

Tite thinks Neymar has evolved as a player in two key aspects in the 12 months that he has been coaching him, “The first one was clear when we played against Uruguay, when we were in their attacking third and [Uruguay centre half] Coates was around his waist.

“At other times he would fall, but this time he held up and went inside. And another aspect is the assists. I always say that when Neymar picks up the ball is for the others to make runs and he understands that too.

One of my favorite players as I was younger. I think the main reason is that he was class on and off the pitch as I can remember.
