It's pretty damn gorgeous. I was impressed with the look of Demon's Souls but not as much as this; really does feel next gen.
Who impulse buys a game they don't plan to play straight away? WeirdFeck it I’ve just bought it, will get to it after I’ve done the FFVII DLC.
Fight me.Who impulse buys a game they don't plan to play straight away? Weird
Game looks class. I've never really cared for R&C but this looks great. I think there'll be a lot of people looking to jump in here just for the showcase.
I do that a lot, though mostly things like steam sales, I have been known to buy games and then take a while to start. Like the ME remasters recently, bought them day 1 and still haven't started yet.Who impulse buys a game they don't plan to play straight away? Weird

Oh absolutely if it's on sale! But full priced £70..I do that a lot, though mostly things like steam sales, I have been known to buy games and then take a while to start. Like the ME remasters recently, bought them day 1 and still haven't started yet.
I'm a nightmare for the amount of games I have on the go at any one point, you wouldn't believe me if I told you just how many games I have installed on steam alone right this moment or listed my actual ongoing games I've been playing over the last week
Why would you pay 80?I don't like the idea of paying 80 quid for a game, but if any game feels worth it, it's this. The graphics, attention to detail, use of dualsense, 3D audio, RTX etc. just make it such an incredibly next gen experience. It's a bit mind blowing at times.
yoyos.Why would you pay 80?
You decide to play this before FF?Echo what everyone else has said with this game, just an amazing experience. I’m on the fifth planet so far, wish it was longer than it’s going to be.
Speed of the SSD never fails to amaze me.
Yeah I started the DLC for FF7 but this just drew me in so I did a @CassiusClaymore and jumped games! You decide to play this before FF?
Probably for the best.Yeah I started the DLC for FF7 but this just drew me in so I did a @CassiusClaymore and jumped games!
The DLC is about 4 hoursProbably for the best.
I'd imagine the DLC will be about 30 hours. R&C is only 15 hours unfortunately. Although I feel like I'm well below that. I think I have two more planets/levels to go.
Haha is that it?The DLC is about 4 hours
So you've ended up @CassiusClaymore ing it already? Can everyone stop doing a @CassiusClaymore please? We're all adults here.
Actually got told off for playing this as it's "too childish."
How long has it taken you? HLTB says 11 hours for main or 16 hours to 100%. Not terrible by today's standards.Think I have almost finished it. Not the longest game in the world but I have absolutely loved it
You can get it for a bit less if you buy the shopto vouchers. You could buy physical, the link I posted above is selling it for £55 - but personally I have ended up buying every PS5 game digitally so far.How long has it taken you? Bit steep for £70 if you're buying digitally, but wondering whether I could buy the disc, complete quick and trade back in without too much of a hit.
Many of the older ones are on PS now. Still well worth playing if you get the free trial.Loved every minute of that. At 80 euro it's crazy money but I had a voucher so it wasn't too bad.
I've only ever played the PS4 one before which I also loved. Can't believe I've let this whole series of games pass me by until recently.
Nice one. I'll definitely them out. Just gotta get through the Mass Effect Trilogy nextMany of the older ones are on PS now. Still well worth playing if you get the free trial.
I have loved them since PS2
It's hard for me to comment on price because I got it for free and I've been vocal previously that I think in today's market £70 is reasonable. But if any game has justified the new, higher price R&C is that game. It's down to £59 on Amazon

I clicked it and it was 59.99 and now it’s 70.Didn't last long!
They patched it to 60FPS so worth a play. What's the other Ratchet game like on the PlayStation plus collection? I haven't played a Ratchet game in years but I'll definitely pick this one up, probably once it hits the £30-40 range. Would quite like to play the previous Ratchet game beforehand.
Ahh, that's positive at least. Should tide me over while I wait for a sale on the new one. They patched it to 60FPS so worth a play.
I’d say so, I played through the other month (just before the patch ). It’s an incredibly fun game. I’m gonna go back and platinum it after I’ve done Rift Apart.Got to say I have never played a R & C game but after reading this thread and a couple of reviews ... makes me wonder if I've missed summat.
Is it worth playing the 2016 release before a Rift Apart?
