There's more to it than that you just can't roll a 1. There are many more combinations to roll a 7 than to roll a 12 for example. If you just randomise numbers from 2 to 12, it's totally different to rolling two dice.

Just roll two dice on random.org, should be the best way to do it:

I know, that's why I said the results are significantly different. What I meant is that it's fairly unimportant in the context of the game. No bonus rolls, no extra money on go, no houses/hotels to land on, etc. Here it's just different criteria for picking players, and while some are better than others, it's not that big a deal.

edit: Actually, r(12) would probably be better for this as it spreads the players out more quickly. Rolling two dice would cluster players around certain criteria more early in the game.

Injuries represent Reality as in getting a real injury or a red card etc. Injury will be in middle of drafting or before reinforcement so managers have ample opportunity to recover and replan. It's not designed to be the sole differentiating factor.

One injury during drafting and two after every match is quite an extreme version of reality, but I guess it will remind me of being an Arsenal fan and seeing Diaby, RVP over the years

I mean, if a player joined the academy at the lowest possible age, he wasn't really recruited by Fergie.

Aye, all those injuries seem excessive to me.

The intention is to force the manager to adopt a new strategy so we don't see the same team with upgrades throughout the draft. Every round should bring something new to the table.
