After Wooton does really well to deny Collins the defence seemed to fall asleep on the corner and their CB Clark is able to bring the ball down and hammer it home from close range
Villa look to have some very promising youngsters. Salifou and Delfouneso have both looked excellent IMO
I think he's been fine. It's worth noting that most of this Villa side are 4/5 years older than him and have league experience.
Terrible keeping from Johnstone for the second. For some reason rather than making himself big at his front post, he went down as though he was making the block - despite being nowhere near the guy.
We're playing far too many long balls. In comparison Villa very rarely go long, and work their way up very neatly, retaining possession well
Salifou is 27 and Delfouneso has been one of Villa's least effective players.
That's mainly due to Villa pressuring the ball far more effectively.

Very true, but our defenders (De Laet excepted) seem to almost be looking for the quick long ball to release Obertan or Bebe.
On a side note, Bebe's crosses are very nice.

I think he's been questionable positionally and, like you say, that it's literally men against boys in the middle hasn't helped either.

Whoever compared Bannan to Beckham earlier - I'd agree, lovely hitter of the ball and his shots, long balls & crosses have all been lovely.
There's no-one on the pitch for us who can really stamp their authority in midfield. Villa are dominating in that area.

We seem to have no real threat going forward. Obertan and Bebe are pacy and can beat their man but there's no end product from either of them, or no one going through the middle to pick up the ball from them.

3-0 half time. Team is struggling badly in midfield and there's nobody getting on the end of some pretty decent service up top.
Bebe's crossing looks great. Can see Rooney on the end of those in future.
It will be a good test of character to see how they react 2nd half.
