He definitely feels a lot of justified contempt for Merson.

He knows the guys a half wit and just can't be bothered with him.He definitely feels a lot of justified contempt for Merson.
He’s only human. He definitely feels a lot of justified contempt for Merson.
You cannot name a child Roy in 2022, it's just wrong. My absolute favourite ever United legend. Name your son after him kinda tier for me
He has a good middle nameYou cannot name a child Roy in 2022, it's just wrong.
He has a good middle name
Give that a rereadYou want a lover that looks at Ten Hag like Roy looks at Ten Hag
Yeah they did mention the Keane songs. Could be heard clearly when they were pitchside straight after the final whistle.Did sky pick up the keane chants that went on for a good 15 mins after the game! Was class. He is just an absolute legend!
We don't get Sky commentary in the US - was he wanking off the opponents in order not to be accused of having Man Utd bias?Yep. A nice change of pace after listening to the Neville wankfest on commentary.
Neville really is a sickening cnut at times.
No chance of that happening. Honestly think he's a bit twisted in the head.We don't get Sky commentary in the US - was he wanking off the opponents in order not to be accused of having Man Utd bias?

Roy’s an optimist at heart. Neville is a pessimist in reality.A refreshing change from the defeatist Gary Neville.
They’re both perfectionists but Neville is the pessimistic type who is always worried about what could go wrong, Keane’s always thinking about what could go right if you’re braveRoy’s an optimist at heart. Neville is a pessimist in reality.
That's a really keen observation and bang on. Keane has such a great energy about him. They’re both perfectionists but Neville is the pessimistic type who is always worried about what could go wrong, Keane’s always thinking about what could go right if you’re brave

Particularly after the Liverpool game Ten Hag was interviewed again and you could see by Keane he didn't pour scorn on anything he said. He was straightforward and honest, no airs or graces , called it as it was. No bullshit. Things that Keane instantly identifies with and resonates with him.Just catching up on the post game stuff. Keane really rates ETH doesn’t he. Couple of times he’s done that post match interview at the side of the pitch and you can tell Roy loves it.
He actually has standards. When he played it was a United/Arsenal 1-2 most seasons, so 8th, 8th and 5th for Arsenal and 6th for United simply isn't good enough. I remember a couple of years ago when Tim Cahill said to him that Arteta and Arsenal are the blueprint, and Keane rightly shut him down.
Thanks for posting it, it's brilliant, and it's absolutely spot on. "I know why they lost"
Good call. You can see in this clip why Keane was a legend of a player but wasn't a great manager. No patience, standards insane and too blinded by rage to manage but treated every game like a derby.
If you've read or seen Remains of the Day, Roy Kent/Roy Keane reminds me of the protagonist if he was full of rage.
Can you imagine Keane playing under Ten Hag? Match made in heaven regarding standards (rightly so as well)Particularly after the Liverpool game Ten Hag was interviewed again and you could see by Keane he didn't pour scorn on anything he said.
