I like him, if FDJ comes that's it then and Eriksen on a free? Along with Mctom, Fred, Bruno Garner maybe that's probably it in CM. So it's a maybe .
Thanks mate. I would love to eat a humble pie but I do think he isn't that great. Ofcourse I don't watch all of the Wolves games . He would be a better fit for us than someone like Tielemans .It does look as though this will be the season he leaves us and I will be truly gutted, he’s up there with Steve Bull as my all time Wolves hero
If it happens I do hope he goes to you for 2 reasons, the first because I actually have a soft spot for United but secondly to see some of you on here eat humble pie
He is fantastic, absolutely fantastic, never mind the couple of odd poor games you’ve seen him have, we were awful the last couple seasons so yes he’s probably looked poor at times but trust me he will fit in at United like a glove
his shooting needs no comment
his ability to not only see a pass but complete the pass is genuinely fantastic
he’s not a midfielder that is going to cover every blade on the pitch, he doesn’t need to, he gets the ball and dictates the play when he does, I can’t wait to see some of the reactions on here when he plays for you
as for a few, I’d say in todays money you’re looking at £50m, if he was English you’d be looking at £75m with the English tax that clubs always get added on to buy a n Englishman, although to be fair if he was English we probably wouldn’t have signed him in the first place
Fred. Give him a partner who actually knows what to do with the ball in midfield, and we might look better. My concern with Neves is how slow and immobile he is, we would need a worker in midfield still and we don't have one that could do that.
Fred playing with an actual skilful and unpredictable footballer in there with him will get even better. He’s been our best midfielder for years now.My concern with Neves is how slow and immobile he is, we would need a worker in midfield still and we don't have one that could do that.
Like….. Matic.Fred. Give him a partner who actually knows what to do with the ball in midfield, and we might look better.
The general consensus is a 25 year old Matic would've been ideal to have so there's that.Like….. Matic.
Genuinely don't understand this. He did excellently in a fast paced championship and then again when stepping up to the premier league. Mind explaining what makes up take this opinion? Are you going of particular stats or something? Honestly curious to know.My concern with Neves is how slow and immobile he is, we would need a worker in midfield still and we don't have one that could do that.
That combo would probably cost 230 million euros.Bruno - Rice - De Jong
Adding with super fast, skill ful and sharp wingers in Raphinha, Rashford and Sancho
Raphinha - Bruno - Rice - Jong - Sancho/Rashford + Ronaldo/Rashford
This 6 combination above are good enough for top 4 and might with a strong squad depth. Good enough for premier league title.
Rice as the balance and to shield the defend. Adding with the attack and creative skills of Raphinha, Bruno, De Jong, Sancho and Rashford = sum of this is a really strong attacking collective and team.
You have to wonder why. Though to be fair, I could never understand why Eriksen wasn't snapped up by a top team for a few years before Tottenham bought him. Some players just seem to have a strange aura around them that stops bigger teams giving them a go. Eriksen went to Spurs for a pittance. Both Neves and Tielemans are waiting on moves but aren’t top of the list for the bigger clubs it seems.
Unless I totally missed something neither of them are top players, guaranteed starters for top clubs. Both are gambles that could work but with glaring issues. Neves for example is a midfielder that can't really carry the ball, isn't particularly good defensively and routinely fails to have an impact when it comes to managing the game from midfield, looking at his stats that impression could be explained by his extremely low amount of short passes. He is only reliable when it comes to set pieces. Both Neves and Tielemans are waiting on moves but aren’t top of the list for the bigger clubs it seems.
Tottenham were on the up and playing at a high level, they also didn't need to sell players for reasonable fees and mainly didn't. People are talking about Tottenham as if they were a penniless midtable team. You have to wonder why. Though to be fair, I could never understand why Eriksen wasn't snapped up by a top team for a few years before Tottenham bought him. Some players just seem to have a strange aura around them that stops bigger teams giving them a go. Eriksen went to Spurs for a pittance.
Because neither are that good. They'd be squad players for better clubs. Both Neves and Tielemans are waiting on moves but aren’t top of the list for the bigger clubs it seems.
But that's dependent on price, unless we have money to burn that kind of specialist isn't needed. In order to be useful he would have to improve in several areas.I live in Wolverhampton, most of my associates are season ticket holders at the Mollinuex - I watch Neves regularly.
I can absolutely see why he’s second or third choice. Superb passer of the ball, but about as immobile as Matić with worse defensive ability. Fans would get extremely frustrated with him.
I think having him as a back up option to add some passing ability to our midfield is a sensible choice. As of right now, De Jong looks certain, so Neves wouldn’t be needed.
We should at least see what the contract situation is if FdJ falls through.
Jeez.... had it in mind it was £30M. Oh well who else is there....Why? 85mil they want
For some reason, there seems to be a lot of people who don’t rate him highly, which amazes me. I think he’s brilliant. It does look as though this will be the season he leaves us and I will be truly gutted, he’s up there with Steve Bull as my all time Wolves hero

slow, gets walked past easily, needs another midfielder with him, will cost 65mFor some reason, there seems to be a lot of people who don’t rate him highly, which amazes me. I think he’s brilliant.
In what world would he cost 30m? English clubs are way too rich, it seems that 50m is the starting price for any player above a 6/10 these days.Jeez.... had it in mind it was £30M. Oh well who else is there....
Clown is a bit harsh surely? He’s a good CM probably not far from his current level that’s all.85m euros for this clown?
All midfielders need another one with them, preferably two. Pep plays about six in there. But I’m wasting my time.slow, gets walked past easily, needs another midfielder with him, will cost 65m
