He's no Bilal Ilyas Jhandir
I like him but not really convinced that he will become elite yet. Unlike Ødegaard and Haaland, Berge requires one more stepping stone imo.
Needs to improve his passing and technical ability to operate at the highest level consistently. Spain or Italy would be perfect for his developement for 1-2 years.I like him but not really convinced that he will become elite yet. Unlike Ødegaard and Haaland, Berge requires one more stepping stone imo.
Agree on all points.I have been banging on about the signing of Berge for a long time now. He would instantly be our best midfielder after Pogba, and has a BIG potential. He has everything one would want in a player in that position. He also is a very bright, humble and professional young lad. The club he signs for will get a bargain.
I get your point, and you might be right. That said, Man Utd will not challenge anytime soon and we could be able to give young players a chance at this point and be such a stepping point. A bit like we did with a few young players in 2003-2006 (even if we where alot better back then).I like him but not really convinced that he will become elite yet. Unlike Ødegaard and Haaland, Berge requires one more stepping stone imo.
He would be ace for us. Hope Ole is on the case. Huge talent.Recent reports indicates that Napoli have offered 20m for him. Seems like they want him this January.
He needs to improve/be consistent passing and close control, in addition to elements of his game that would improve his effectiveness in the final third (despite not being an attacking player currently). Italy and Serie A would suit his current game perfectly and he would likely improve some of the aforementioned aspects of his game there. He would be ace for us. Hope Ole is on the case. Huge talent.

Yep very impressed by him. For a big guy he's very mobile and gets around the pitch very well. He's a Matic in the making.
Is he playing as a CDM? I think he’ll go on to have a great career in that position. He's a Matic in the making.
And just lost the ball to allow Leeds to score the (what looks like) winning goal.Yep very impressed by him. For a big guy he's very mobile and gets around the pitch very well.
