Had quite a few injuries this season. Might be just a coincidence but it's likely related to the age as he generally had a very good injury record throughout his career up until now.
Alaba coming in as a LCB, which is where Varane usually plays, Militao will be their RCB and they’ll probably be in the market for another.It's hard to believe him and Varane will leave both Real this summer, but surely PSG can't buy both. Imagine the meltdown if they both move, but one ends up at PSG the other at Chelsea

He wouldn't go City, would he? They have an established center back pairing that just clicked in Stones and Dias plus he's been on the wrong side of the Classico divide against Pep. Serie A would be kinder on his body but if he wants to try England, I reckon we're the only club with a necessity to start him and pay him the wages he wants.

I reckon he'd be Roma bound. Jose doesn't much rate Smalling and there were rumors of Everton being interested in him plus Mourinho likes himself an older center back with his lower defensive line.
