I got goosebumps all over when I read the news right now. I just randomly thought about Sir Bobby when watching the City game while they were applauding for Francis Lee, and now we get these news just an hour later.

Rest in peace to an absolute icon for Manchester United and the entire of England. What a man and what a story. Incredibly sad news and I'm sure the club will do their best to honor his legacy.

Proper legend for club and country and quite rarely in football, a gentleman as well.

This one hit me hard. Thanks for all you did for us, both as a player and after your career ended. A man who embodied the soul of the club. RIP.

Oh no, sad day. I always got happy when I saw him being around in the stands always, even the last couple of years. He was United and such a nice person.

Rest in peace Sir Bobby. Class man and class player.
He is probably the biggest part of the legend of this club. He survived to Munich and came back to play football even if he lost his friends. What a legend.

Sir Bobby symbolises the good times at United, seeing him in the stands when we were constantly winning stuff. Go in peace, my brother.

I was just thinking about him a couple of weeks ago and how he used to always be in the stands watching games. Now it's Sir Alex there instead.

Not only a great footballer, but a flawless gentleman on and off the pitch.

Above all, someone who survived tragedy and succeeded and endured.

A huge part of this football club's soul and British football has gone.

RIP.
