So what's next for Sir Gareth Southgate?

Southgate is going to cost us the World cup.

We have some world class players not utilised properly.

Kae is exceptional, he needs runners beyond him on the wing, we play Grealish, Mount who like to come to the ball.

We have some exceptional midfielders but persist with 2 DM's.

The pressing is a joke, the reliance on set piece is a joke too.
 Like you have a chance Southgate or not.

Does a white shirt make Harry Maguire more mobile or faster? Have you considered that playing with a defensive setup and defenders looking "good" might be connected?
Nope, he's just very good. England were pragmatic but by no means the most defensive nation during the Euro's / World Cup. He was one of the best CB's both tournaments, just very good.

He's a good player that is prone to completely lose his head/confidence in certain situations. Very unreliable, but on his day, he's actually very good.

Time to deflect by throwing some jibes at United players.

There’s a lot of players in this squad that shouldn’t be anywhere near an international team looking to challenge. The talk of golden generation is just recency bias.

Glad this fraud is getting exposed.
Talks about not selecting some players based on form or they can't pass (Smalling) then picks players that are in shitter form and worse at playing football.
He's a twat who is so far up his own arse.

I doubt he gets sacked before the World Cup - not after his “heroics” getting to the euros final.
I can't see him being sacked by the dinosaurs at the FA either, but the writing is on the wall. He has had his time and it wasn't successful no matter how anyone tries to spin it. Won nothing.

He won't do anything at the WC, we'll be lucky to get out the groups.

If you say so Gareth...
Cnut deserves this 0-4. I remember Southgate singling out Saka after the penalty misses as someone who didn’t deserve to get booed, in effect saying the other two did….at it again here. Pube.

He won't be sacked and it'll take a proper embarrassing group exit for the FA to sack him. We're well and truly stuck with him sadly.
I think we’ll have a really poor World Cup. Similar to Euro 2016 maybe and he’ll go after it

The fact that there's only 2 more games left till a world cup will keep this daft cnut in his job to feck up a world cup.

Weird that so many here have some blind loyalty towards him, he's really not good.

Got a lot to do to get back in a squad that's barely scored for fekking hours and is woefully out of form.

We need to bin this clown before he watses all this wonderful talent we have.

Those comments from Southgate about players who weren’t picked for this squad hoping to still make the WC have aged atrociously. Smacked of an assumption that England would do well over these two weeks, but it’s been miserable.

Anyone outside this squad will be all the better for not having been involved.

Yeah, has a very talented generation of players but he reverts to playing 7 defensive players (at the euros with 5 at the back and Phillips/Rice anchoring) to try and make up for his own incompetence.

He’s already wasted it in my opinion, England will never get a better chance with the draws they got in the World Cup and the draw and home final in Euro’s.

This is true, he treated Smalling horribly. He also has an agenda against Grealish for no reason.

Where the grass is greener.
His football is horrible and we've done well despite him. Yes we might have a good team spirit, but it's not enough and us being found out was long overdue. It's happening, and sadly it means we're going to get robbed of a good world cup performance.
