"It was always gonna be a tough transfer window. Fortunately we've got some great experienced players in Youngy who captains the club by example and is a role model to some of the younger players like Rashy, Chongy, Jesse and Mason. If you're good enough you're old enough."
On a serious note I think we will end up surprising a few people this season.
He’s in a horrible position.
Any manager in his position should be speaking out. He can’t, because to be honest, he’s lucky to have the job. He got the new manager bounce then looked bereft of ideas when he got the job and the wheels came off.
I think he’s a good guy and could very well be a very good manager, but for me, there’s too many players ready to chuck the towel in. That needed to be addressed and it hasn’t.
That’s a top 6 squad at best because other teams have improved. And you can guarantee that like last year, when things get tough the same players will look to hide. Then it becomes cheaper to sack the manager for a quick fix.
I hate to say this but there’s a handful of players in that squad who would have survived under Fergie.
Club is a shambles. The Glazers need to wise up because ground lost is, at some stage, money lost. The star fades quickly.
