Ole's bottlejob in the final was miles bigger than Southgate's tbh. United were overwhelming favourites against Villareal. Italy were always going to be tough opponents. Both managers, however, lack an edge to win big trophies.

Same issues. Don't set up a team to control a game with the ball, you face the risk of being nullified for large parts and ultimately relying on fleeting moments or penalties. Right now though I feel like Southgate takes it.

Our big games under Ole were worse than this last season.
