Well there hasn’t been a slam since so not a chance to win another big one. Hopefully Australia in the new year.

Yes I expect Emma to win, she had to pull out of the most recent event due to Covid

Jason Kenny, Britain’s most successful Olympian of all time, doesn’t even make the final cut :houllier:

Sterling makes final six ….how the feck does that work out?

I'm sure she hasn't been sitting at home twiddling her thumbs for the last however many months. There must have been other tournaments.
Yeah, she won them all without dropping a game.

Raducanu or Peaty for me. I think Peaty should get it for longevity and completely dominating his sport but it’s not the same story as the former is.

You have to ask yourself how they work these things out.
It’s appalling, especially when Hoy and Wiggins have both been knighted and won SPOTY, despite winning less gold medals.

Who are the w@nkers that decide the final six?

BBC are clearly taking the piss having Fury as a nominee again. The guy rightfully or wrongfully made his feelings clear last time.

Sky Brown wins the Young Sports Personality of The Year award.

Have Arsenal fans appealed the decision yet so they can give it as a joint triple award to Saka, Smith-Rowe and Martinelli instead?

Yes there have been, not sure she has won any of them, but the US open is the last slam of the year.

That was really dull. Stupidly long and why do they need four presenters.

National hunt jockey Rachel Blackmoore, and very well deserved.

Top Jockey at Cheltenham and first woman to win the Aintree Grand National, amongst other notable victories.

Simone biles winning the lifetime achievement award is strange. Has anyone else won it at such a young age?
