Spurs’ transfer business so far:
Forster-free transfer
Ivan Perisic- free transfer
Djed Spence-£20m (reportedly)
Bissouma-£25m (reportedly)

They’ll potential add Eriksen on a free too. If they bring in a forward, dare I say it, they’ll challenge next season. I don’t understand why United can’t make common sense signings like this. Passed up on Kamara on a free too.

I have a feeling that Glaston’s going to be making a smug return to the cafe and making himself at home next season.

Signed someone who has been accused of sexual assault.

Not nary a mention in the media.

Whereas one of ours has literally been written off before even having his day in court.

In what world is signing ivan perisic and bissouma going to make them challenge for a title? Mid table signings considering they are now in the CL.

They are really serious right now. Top manager, beautiful stadium, signings are strong and there’s more to come, things look good for them.

Talk they're after Richarlison and Paulinha as well. Good signings but without Conté they're not scary signings.

He's still the only thing to be worried about at Spurs and once he falls out with Levy and fecks off, they'll be back when they belong.

To be fair that's mostly by our own fans. Court of popular opinion and has charged, tried and convicted him already.

Spurs mean business this window. By getting Conte in, they also got the pressure that comes with him.

If they wouldn't have backed Conte and he would have left, it would have just shown how much of a joke that club is.

Meanwhile we've supposedly made assurances to ETH and no evidence those are being kept as of yet.

Probably buying a plane ticket back from India rn.

I do like Bissouma, the other signings are nothing to get excited about though, a one for the future in Spence, don't get me wrong he could turn out to be a super star, but not for a couple of years yet. And a rotation player in Perisic due to the number of competitions Spurs will want to be competitive in. Still some big ifs over whether they actually get Richarlison, Eriksen and Bastoni over the line.

They need to move players I think is probably one of the most important things for them, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Winks, just a few off the top of my head they need to move on.

Be honest.

What would your reaction be if we signed a 34 year old perisic on a free, and Bissouma (potential sex assaulter) for 25m?

I mean would you HONESTLY be happy with that window?

feck sake.

It might be deemed a good window for spurs. But we should be nowhere near these types of players. Not if we want to win trophies.

He was never charged with anything and there was no evidence of him assaulting anyone, as far as I know.

Spurs making common sense signings and now have a common sense/no nonsense manager.

People can look at individual signings all they want, but for the figures they're lying out and the squad holes they're currently filling, it looks like smart business to me considering they're target is top 4 plus a run in cup competitions next season.

Squad players.

There's no actual quality there. Djed Spence is a prospect.

Don't get the obsession with Bissouma and Kamara - neither are good enough.

They also have Paratici who is known as one of the best DoF's in world football. What happened to united supposedly adopting a "best in class" approach? We are clearly only identifying players that ETH has a working knowledge of.

My reaction would be:
- they got a good 34 year old player that will cover them in a few games here and there. We haven't filled a hole in our squad like DM or RW for 10 years now.
- they got a good 25 year old and very good CM for, reportedly, 25 mil. I don't care about the sex assault thing as long as there's nothing in the media. If the media didn't report anything like that, United/Spurs would have known through lawyers anyway.
- they good a very promising young RB

Of course, in regards to Bissouma and Spence, I'm talking out of my ass, they're not confirmed yet.

I was literally saying they mean business and seem to be decisive, which indeed, for Spurs, is quite a thing. In regard to our beloved United, I don't really give a feck if we get De Jong or fecking Snjeider out of retirement, as long as the current crop have quality around them or they're just moved on. I've nothing against the owners or the managers, I just hate the group of players and I'm not too bothered what happens this summer. If we don't get some transfers in, we're going to play McFred next year and finish 8th, which surely will mean they're going to get fecked off a year later. If we get some transfers in, we're going to replace the current average players in our team, which is the same thing but only done 1 year earlier.

Thats because its not a Manchester United player so you wouldn't know about it.

How in the feck would you know there was no evidence? Sherlock fecking Holmes over here.
“Under investigation” doesn’t mean you are charged. If one of your group did something you would also be brought in until it’s cleared up.

I said there’s no evidence, as far as I know. Unlike the Greenwood case, where the evidence was / is public and quite damning. Hardly matters what club he’s playing for at that point.

Why are you being a cnut?

I agree on the transfers bit though - none of that screams “title challenge”.

Likewise, I am not sure why everyone is losing their heads on this.

Alot of negativity has been fed to our fans based on players other teams are signing.

It is clear we have other targets, Bissouma has not been a Manutd target for a while now.

Not saying that bissouma's signing isn't iffy, but they are not quite the same.

Bissouma was initially arrested on grounds of unspecified sexual assault. Currently released under investigation whilst the other person arrested in connection with the case is still on bail. Presumably Bissouma will not be charged.

Greenwood was arrested on charges of rape, assault and death threats and is still on bail. And there's quite damning evidence in the public sphere that means he is quite likely to be both charged and sentenced in due time.

Pl challengers spurs. No question about that. One of the best league managers get his way in transfers plus one of the best attacks in league.

Finally someone said this! 100% agree.

I think I have to support them to stop Liverpool and City next year. Think they have the best chance of doing that.

Conte is class and he is improving the squad. Son, Kane, Kulusevski is the best attack in the league in my opinion if Mane leaves Liverpool.

The def is still a bit poor though so they could need a central defender.

Still think we should have gone for Conte, but Ten Haag I am happy with too. Think with weaker players Conte is better at making the likes of Maguire and Varane to perform.

They've bought some pretty smart signings, they'll be challenging Chelsea for 3rd because no ones getting near City and Liverpool. Still seems like they've got plenty left to spend too, probably on a marquee signing.

Us beating them 3-0 away last season was the best thing they could have wished for.

Apologies if I came across too strongly.

Just tired of our players getting "unfair" treatment whilst there have been a fair few others let off the hook or downright swept under the rug because they aren't Manchester United players.

I'd shudder to think what the media headlines would be if we were the ones who signed bissouma. You'd never hear the end of his sexual assault allegations.

You really believe the difference in treatment is because one is a Manchester United player?

challenge for what exactly?

You dont?
No. I believe that any Premier league player exposed so publicly and graphically on such grievous charges would be instantly kicked out of the team.

We can talk about innocent till proven guilty and all that but here there is already strong evidence available to the public. It would require something extraordinary for him not to be charged and sentenced.

I'll save you the trouble.

One is an allegation of unwanted sexual advances that made the girl hide in the toilet. No charges were upheld.

The other is a charge of rape, assault and death threats with tangible evidence of it publicly available.

Maybe Keita was guilty and if so probably not a very good person. It's still not remotely comparable to the charges Greenwood is facing.

Greenwood hasn't been charged.

But thanks for proving my point ;)

I assume you are on the wind up. The two are not even close to being comparible, and neither is Greenwood/Bissouma. You should stop.
