I saw this game was getting rave reviews on Steam and it's thoroughly deserved. It's fantastic.

Your grandad gives you the lease to a farm and you have to build it from scratch, but also fishing, combat, and other quest orientated themes form the basis of a really addicting and fun game. It's £10.99 and was created by one guy which boggles my mind tbh. It's continuing to be updated too.

from looking at the screen grab, it's like an updated version of Granny's Garden on the old BBC computers at school...

One of my favourite games. It's really cute and allows for quite a lot of strategising.

Has continued to be updated, for free, since its release and gets better every time. Latest was the 1.5 update which was December I think and added loads of end game stuff.

Got this on a free trial for the switch and feck me is it addictive. I tried it once years ago on mobile and couldn’t get into it (probably due to it being so finicky on a small device) but it is just made for the Switch.

You married?

You married?

In the game or real life? I’ve focused on the farm so far (nearly at the end of Fall year 1) so not really done much with the town aside from the odd favour and gift. Feels like I’ve got feck all done on the farm still though. About 70% of it is overgrown still.

I was meaning the game, rather than shooting my shot

It's not bad for it to be overgrown. All those trees you've let build up will come in very handy when you have a plan that needs a tonne of wood.

Fall year 1 is still proper early. I reckon most people would play til like year 4-5 before they've fully got things how they want them.

amazing game. Definitely excels on the switch. Haven’t managed to go deep on the switch version yet as I grinder so much on the pc that I need a wee break.

It's an enjoyable game, very good for zoning out and playing while listening to a podcast/audiobook.

I got married to the purple haired alt chick. She cute

I’m working on the married woman who builds shit. Not sure if it’s possible but I like to add some drama to the town.
