I would say it would be hard to beat us with the English talent we have.

GK: Amos (Our weakest link...)
DL: Fryers (Second weakest link...)
DC: Jones
DC: Rio
DR: Smalling
MR: Welbeck (he has played as a winger once or twice!)
MC: Cleverley
MC: Carrick
ML: Young
ST: Rooney
ST: Owen

Any side in the EPL that could match this one?

City are probably the only team who could come close, but they'd struggle up front.

Hart

Richards
Lescott
Onuoha
Bridge

Milner
Barry
M. Johnson
Hargreaves
A. Johnson

I'd have swapped Rooney and Welbeck (and Young) probably.

We'd struggle to put one together since we swapped them all for Francophone.

Spurs would probably be:

---------- David Button
Walker - Dawson - King - Danny Rose
------- Parker - Huddlestone
Lennon -- Jenas - Townsend
----------- Defoe

That's a decent line-up I'd say.

And if you made it all-British instead of all-English, we'd have a top 4 side there.

Two small suggestions:
1) If Harps can be recalled so can Forster, plunk him in.
2) Move Raylor to RM, shift Gosling and Guthrie over, drop Smith and put Tavernier or Dummett in at LB.

Still not very pretty I reckon, but at least there's no Smith.

LB we have Jack Robinson who has played a few prem games and played them well. Wilson is Scottish so doesn't fit, the others you mention are English. Our team would be:

Belford (rubbish)
Kelly Carra Wisdom Robinson
Spearing Henderson
Johnson Stevie Downing
Carroll

Over reliance on Stevie G, back five too young (minus Carra). A bit ordinary to be fair.
