Everywhere you look there's mental takes
Juveniles 400 degrees is in the top 100!
It's a place above GFKs Ironman!

58: AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted87. Ultramagnetic MCs, 'Critical Beatdown' (1988)
79. Eric B. & Rakim, 'Follow the Leader' (1988)
40. Dr. Dre - 'The Chronic' (1992)
24. Nas - 'Illmatic' (1994)
15. Eric B. and Rakim - 'Paid in Full' (1987)
There's quite a few more great albums that should be way higher, but these are the most outrageous. I hate these lists. 3 fecking Eminem albums and Rakim's 18th letter is nowhere to be found.
Me Against The World is at number 134God awful list. Illmatic is known as the greatest Hip Hop album. On another forum they had a knockout tournament for 100 Hip Hop albums or so, the final was Illmatic vs Me Against The World which is what I'd consider the two best Hip Hop albums.
Can't believe I overlooked Illmatic at 24, the person responsible for the list has to be doing it for attention.24. Nas - 'Illmatic' (1994)

21. Lil Wayne - 'Da Drought 3' (2007)
20. Future - 'DS2' (2015)
19. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - The Heist (2008)
16. Cardi B - 'Invasion of Privacy' (2018)
11. Drake - 'Take Care' (2011)
7. Missy Elliott - 'Miss E... So Addictive' (2001)
5. Kendrick Lamar - 'To Pimp a Butterfly' (2015)
There's so many things wrong with this list that I don't even know where to start.
It should not be above Ironman but 400 degrees is a regional classic for sureEverywhere you look there's mental takes

This alone disqualifies the listStankonia ahead of Aquemini and ATLiens?
I'll definitely check out that Cardi B at least. Let's see.You gonna go through them all and give us a rating and a short review dumbo, or are you gonna be lazy?
I don't dislike 400 degreez - I brought it back in the day and played it plenty - I'll still throw Ha or Back that Ass Up on the Spotify from time to time. Regional classic is a good way of describing it actually. It should not be above Ironman but 400 degrees is a regional classic for sure
The list is pure basura though
Tbf Supreme is at 14 which might be the only album on the list that's roundabout where it should be (though personally id have it higher)And they don't even have Supreme Clientele in the top 100.
No Wu Tang Forever either (assuming it's in the top 200). It's ridiculous.
One of so many absurdities with the list.Surprised not to see The Documentary on there, no idea why Donda is so high on the list.
People may not like Macklermore and Izzy Agaelia but you can't deny they've had a big impact on the culture over the last 10 years. You'd never have Machine Gun Kelly or Rhapsody without them.
I'm wondering what they based this ranking on.26. Jay-Z - 'Reasonable Doubt' (1996)
25. Eminem - 'The Marshall Mathers LP' (2000)
24. Nas - 'Illmatic' (1994)
19. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - The Heist (2008)
17. Kanye West - 'Yeezus' (2013)
16. Cardi B - 'Invasion of Privacy' (2018)
Trash list. Rolling stone trying some good old clickbait
It's on 124th position there. Is Speakerboxxx/The Love Below not allowed or something? I mean, it is essentially two albums and one of them isn't really hiphop, so I guess it makes sense. Otherwise it's far and away Outkast's best work.

Yes
Thanks for confirming that my eyes have gone to shit.Tbf Supreme is at 14 which might be the only album on the list that's roundabout where it should be (though personally id have it higher)
Exactly what I was thinking.Iggy Azalea being there at all and Macklemore that high are really... 'interesting' choices.
What is worth considering, is whether rap fans tend to be too fixated on the golden age of rap from the NY region, when it comes to making lists like this.
Ilmatic and the Purple Tape are awesome but so much (some good) has happened since then. This list did a shitty job of trying to figure that out, but I'm sure a better list can be created that balances the old and new.
For example: Future has created a top 75 album and I'll die on that hill
