Congratulations @Akash

Also congratulations to everyone who got promoted.

Thanks for letting me join, I've loved it so far and can't wait to take control of my club for a full season.

Even though i'm absolutely broke :(

Nothing is so common as the wish to be remarkable.
Although Gaya was mostly restricted to regular substitute appearances due to formation rejig, people at Ipswich believe Gaya is ready to be first choice LB in the first division. It was understood Ipswich were interested in getting him back on loan and moving on coentrao. However, the information is that Gaya is going to be having a look-in the United squad soon.

Keeping this as a record for next year, immediate goal is to get total value at 310m and sign some defensive prospects.

Failed to sign any good defensive prospects but met my squad target, average age stayed the same too which is good.

Southend Utd have secured 1st place in Div 5. My goal for next season:
  1. Win Div 4 + promotion
  2. QF in either Cup or Shield competition
  3. Increase my team's value to 70m
  1. Successful
  2. Out in 1st round against Forest in Cup competition; lost to Palace in last 16 of Shield competition
  3. Successful, but target was set too low back then
With new match engine (and possibly squad valuation) coming soon, my goal for next season:
  1. Promotion to Div 2 (automatic or via playoff)
  2. Last 16 in either Cup or Shield competition
  3. Increase my team's value to 125m (largely depends on winter review)

I'm reasonably happy with 6th place, considering everyone had Stoke down as relegation fodder...but for a few dodgy runs of consecutive defeats, I should have been up in the top 4...

I was actually challenging for top spot a few weeks back as well...so to finish outside of the top 4, is a bit gutting really...

That said, I'm looking for a new challenge, as I feel I've done all I can with Stoke City. I've left them with a good solid squad, and plenty of cash in the bank, and now I feel like I'm ready to take the next step in my career with a top 4 club, with a better setup, and a chairman who isn't a cnut.

So, with that in mind, I'm actively sending out my SM CV to all clubs, to see what crops up.

It's a miracle I've managed to finish 10th. I go again next year. Still need a quality striker but i am like Liverpool, while the resources are there, nobody wants to come.

Midlands daily can reveal exclusively that Stoke City manager Big Andy has been batting eyelids in the direction of Aston Villa board. With couple of managers having already shown interest, things are hotting up. A poll on an Aston Villa forum however had fans divided about Big Andy in spite of his achievements. Some fans compared him with Big Sam while few other compared him with Fat Rafa. Aston Villa board however are thought to be admirers of Big Andy.

I'm just starting the new Squad Value Table (see OP for previous season.)

So if managers could start recalling players from loan (assuming they aren't in playoffs) that'd be grand.

One fan in his rage fit said, he would rather have Herrera as Aston Villa manager than Big Andy. Thankfully, he was laughed at, mercilessly ridiculed, his tagline changed and was subsequently temp banned. The normalcy resumed.
