There's only one United!
I agree - he is a short arse DIRTY TWAT and gets away with lots of fouls with ALL referees.
I didn't say what you, supposedly, quoted from me.
The two extra words are yours.

He is a very good player, highly technical. Once the likes of Fabinho and/or Henderson can play in CM again I think he will be better.

That being said, he has been bang average so far. Long may it continue.

Also, hopefully refs actually start carding him for the fouls.

What does he actually have to do on a football pitch to get booked?

I'd have thought cynically chopping down a player who has absolutely stuffed you would be nailed on, but apparently not.

I can’t believe he didn’t get booked again? How has he done this.

Quite clumsy isn't he. How many times has he accidentally tripped someone up now?

I understand refs are hesitant to book for persistent fouling in the first half, but that foul on Rashford is the easiest yellow ever.

You have to laugh at the misconceptions British commentators constantly display about him. The other week one of them called him to have been a "goal-scoring midfielder", and now the guy on BBC (Jenas?) said about a failed volley shot attempt "if anyone can do it, he can - I've seen him do it many a-times".

Thiago can do almost everything in midfield: passing, dribbling, interceptions, tackles, moments of magic and of rude, cynical fouling; but there's one thing he sure cannot do: shoot and score from outside the box. He never did, he's just not able to do it. His shot the other week vs United that came close was the best I've see him do in years, and I watched him every week.
Anyone who claims he's seen him do it many a-times is clueless and lying.

He had box to box juice at Bayern but looks like he can’t be bothered for Liverpool

I was literally thinking/wondering this when Jenas said that. I haven’t followed Thiago’s career that closely, but have never had the opinion that he’s regarded as some long range specialist. Thought I was missing something, but then realised Jenas was just putting him into the generic ‘continental midfielder’ box that happens with British media pundits quite often.

He’ll score a screamer now...

No need to worry. He wouldn't have. He really, really never does, it's the one thing at which he's noticeably inept.

He's not a prolific player in terms of goals and assists anyway, and I'd say that the vast majority of goals he scored for us came from close range, often headed, after he'd ran into the box during a counter or so.

I thought he was supposed to be a creative spark, not a spanish Shelvey.

A couple of turns but you could see how little he actually created when they had that 20 minute spell in the second half.
Liverpool of last year would have pummeled our goal with cross after cross.
Henderson had little to do

He really doesn’t fit in to that Liverpool team. Well, except for the fact he fouls a lot. He’s not as sneaky at fouling as the other but somehow gets away without bookings.
