    Alright thanks guys.

The moment that stuck with me from 17/18 was when he got nutmegged by Messi twice.

He just seems to get down so fecking slow, obviously poor on the first goal. Second strike from Di Maria was well placed and very quickly taken but it still left me with the feeling he should have done better, he seemed like he wasn't even close yet Ter Stegen and Allison save that imo. Just not a top echelon keeper and hasn't been for a few years

Dave, Navas and Ter Stegen probably are making fun of him in a group chat as we speak. Poor guy.

    J.H.C. He's d-o-n-e.

Hilarious Navas is gone but this "past-it 13-15 peak" constantly keeps conceding goals with Madrid.

Apparently Thibaut means bold or brave. So he's a bit of a conundrum.

Hopefully that was Navas actually being a bit of a cheeky dick.

They were sold before they even got good, that's an entirely different issue and its not like Chelsea haven't been hoarding players sending them on loan by the dozens.

Must be injured or had a blazing row. He was not particularly bad in the 1st half, was he?

I haven't been watching but they conceded 2 goals in the first half, maybe that was it!

Happens to most goalkeepers about 20 times per season, nobody else gets hooked off at half time.

First reports said he had injured his shoulder, then was said that he actually had a bit of a fever.

I'm sure it's something more serious though like a bad hair day.

Apparently he had diarrhea and dizziness.
It would be interesting to know if he had
the symptoms before or after the whistles :DI wouldn't mind seeing Areola starting for a few weeks

Fact they've denied it ... ? Stomach issues can also be linked with stress and aniexty.

Weight of the white shirt gets to some. See Mourinho...

His personal life has been pretty complicated too. Interesting to see who starts next few games for RM

He wasn't even bad in 15/16,, his last season was his worst season.
