Very entertaining game that Spurs could have - and should have - won easily given the number of chances we created. Bent missed an absolute sitter, we hit the bar, Pompey cleared at least two balls off their goal line and we came close on several occasions.

Good goal from Defoe (with Modric playing a key part in creating it) and great to see him back at Spurs.

Ah well, a point is better than nothing and at least moves us out of the drop zone for the time being, with a home game against Stoke next up in the league.

Why is it so close at the bottom of the table?

Do you think it's because so many teams are parking the bus and playing for the draw?
