Don’t mind the idea myself of the experienced head in with the younger players, same as McShane last season.
Good pickup. Low cost veteran player who might have some value at the trade deadline and we can flip him for a prospect.
Good. Play him in the De Jong role and use the cash to sign a DM and a RW.

Player coach? Can't be serious. The last time I saw Tom play was over a year ago and he had to be practically wheeled off the bench. The bloke finds it difficult to walk let alone run.
Only thing I really remember about Huddlestone is him not getting a hair cut for 30 months after vowing not to get a hair cut until he scored a goal... He did raise a fair amount for cancer research though. So good on him for that.
Wasn't he one of the infamous "cake boys" at Spurs?... in that he used to stuff himself with a large piece of cake at halftime.

Jaysus.... that's what he looks like now? Life has been tough on him since that 10-12yrs ago when they had hopes for him to break through. I guess it will be good for the scouser kids to listen to his stories and learn from it.
