Pep has 300m to spend and doesnt know what to do with all the money but spend it on Monaco player. He must have cried after losing to themWtf is going on with City
Cheeky bid for their kid Sancho? Or vivify the Aguero rumours again. So much for the brilliant City academy.
My bad but the point still stands. I doubt any sane human will not be satisfied with those acquisitions. There's little or no chance we or anyone will get both. What ?
Also add the fact that despite signing a gk from barcelona he now needs another one. This is simply a failure in management for me.With this investment, anything less than winning both will be a huge failure imo. He spent the most of any manager last season, to improve an already very good squad. Now he's rumoured to be spending another 300m. That's nearly half a billion he spent himself on improving a team that was already one of the best attacking sides in the league before he arrived.
If this has proved anything though, it's that Pep is nothing special. He's a very good manager like a lot of others around, surely not some miracle worker as some made out.

Excuse me, that's the Elite Development Squad to you.So much for the brilliant City academy.
They can't win trophies so they're just going to buy every player from every team so they have no competition.City's transfer window is like the jokes we make on here about how we should just buy over an entire club to get all their players
Well they dont have to worry about losing to Monaco next seasonThey can't win trophies so they're just going to buy every player from every team so they have no competition.
What's funny is they probably still will. Monaco have some good youngsters coming through from what I've seen.Well they dont have to worry about losing to Monaco next season
Mbappe needs space to exploit, teams sitting deep would provide hell lot of those,IMO Pep yet to learn his lesson.Depending on ageing Kompany going to cost him, have they been linked with any defenders yet? With this investment, anything less than winning both will be a huge failure imo. Whoops! Sorry.Excuse me, that's the Elite Development Squad to you.
Mangala was woeful at City. Brainless isn't harsh when it comes to him.Tweet

One I think we should be on. Bit of a Mamadou Sakho except far superior, Mourinho was after him while Mangala was at Porto and though he may not fit the centre-back-playmaker role required of him at Manchester City there's an outstanding out-and-out defender Mourinho could coax out of him at a miniature price.
Mendy is the only concrete one from what I've seen. I don't think there are many defenders who will look good in Pep's system, he leaves them for dead. He'd need the world's best defenders or they'll continue to struggle there imo.Mbappe needs space to exploit, teams sitting deep would provide hell lot of those,IMO Pep yet to learn his lesson.Depending on ageing Kompany going to cost him, have they been linked with any defenders yet?
Agent Jose Get him signed, would compliment Herrera and Pogba wellMourinho doesn't stick around in Monaco for the Grand Prix. Perhaps he went there for other reasons..Tweet

People speculating why he was in Monaco? It was presumed for the grand prix. How is this a transfer tweet?
feck me..It shows José wan't in Monaco for the F1 today?
How many centre backs have thrived at Manchester City? It was a big ask for a 23 year old to go straight into their team and slip in seamlessly, especially with Kompany injured most of the time and having a certain Alexander Kolarov on his left hand side to think about covering all the time.Mangala was woeful at City. Brainless isn't harsh when it comes to him.
Jose is not a miracle worker.
That's true it's speculation. But there haven't been many tweets in recent pages, just a lot of whining. How is this a transfer tweet?
Monaco's season is over, I doubt many of their players are still there.People speculating why he was in Monaco? It was presumed for the grand prix.
He obviously heard the Caf was in meltdown so had to cut his vacation short.People speculating why he was in Monaco? It was presumed for the grand prix.
This ain't happening. How many centre backs have thrived at Manchester City? He's done well enough at Valencia for them to want to keep him, if he comes here you can be sure Jose will take his brain away (not that I'd agree he's brainless anyway) and train him to death to make sure he stays in position and takes advantage of his many, incredible, positive attributes.
No worries. Genuinely had no clue and have understood the reason although rather speculative and doesn't say much if anything at all. That's true it's speculation. But there haven't been many tweets in recent pages, just a lot of whining.

If he goes to Newcastle I promise you he'll do one season and then we'll be in for him. This ain't happening.
He's a poor defender and his level would be Newcastle like clubs.

Does anyone even read the OP?
"As usual, please don't post anything from clear BS accounts, click bait tabloid accounts, or obvious aggregator sites (Utdreport etc) who know feck all."
Thread cleaned up a bit. Those sorts of accounts always fabricate some quotes to get more followers. There's a reason we don't tend to allow them to be posted. Only post them if they have a link to source included (they never do).
It's not going to happen. If he goes to Newcastle I promise you he'll do one season and then we'll be in for him.
