Bayern work the way a big club works. We are two tables down in the pecking order and have been for years. We're a sham. And this about Sane,it's about how business is conducted by every other big team. Madrid are questionable but theyvet won triple CL titles recently, they get a pass. We are like Birmingham FC slotted into a European super league

Bayerns transfer activity has been abysmal for years now. This is the biggest myth on here for some reason.

Agreed. Would be great for us. Hopefully City replace him with a dud. Crazy to let him go. Never understood why he never got more game time. Was one of their main game-changers.
Peo seems to have issues with him, and Low too. Must be a bit of a dick off the field.

Guessed it had to be something like that. Great that he's leaving City, mind. And Jesus potentially. Just need Aguero to retire now or feck off to China.

Would still take a punt on Sane though. Would be a nailed on starter for United so no reason for him to get narky.

Inter are willing to go as high as £50m, Ed apparently wants closer to the £75m we paid

£50m is a decent amount. He would barely get any minutes next season, Ole has made it very clear he prefers Rashford. Lukaku wouldnt even fetch £40m next window.

Even more depressing when their Martial is levels above ours
How is this a positive for City or a slight on us? Whats depressing about it? It's a black mark against their club and Pep himself.

Yet again Liverpool getting top dollar for debris, whilst we struggle to offload an (ex) Italian international in Darmian for £5-6 million.
I mean, they haven’t got anything for him yet. But I just meant why is selling a reserve, who’s barley got a senior appearance, newsworthy?

If he's that worried, he's welcome to pay the extra £25m himself in recognition of his inability to control a football despite being paid £200k a week.

Why are clubs constantly lowballing us on our players but expecting us to pay over the odds for theirs. Really is so frustrating!

They do love to name Ed Woodward in every single article that they write.

Good, would rather we stood firm, other clubs demand an absolute feck tonne from us for any player we go after, we should treat them the same way.

Absolutely no chance we should accept anything less than what we paid for him

We paid £75m plus add ons. I’d like to think the add ons weren’t triggered as they are generally for winning trophies, scoring loads of goals, nominated for / winning individual awards etc and that obviously hasn’t happened.

We also got Rooney off the books as part of the deal, which was seen as an added advantage at the time.

50 million is the max Lukaku is worth right now, we'd be stupid to reject that fee.

But we usually try to buy players other teams actually want to keep.

If we don't want lukaku we hold very few cards when it comes to negotiating.

Imagine going into the next season with Rashford as our main striker  I would probably give up watching football.

I can't see us going into a season with Martial Rashford and Greenwood being our strikers. Especially when I don't think 2 are strikers and Greenwood is completely inexperienced and may even play wide right when he does play next season.

If Rom goes we'll have to sign a striker.
