I don't think anyone is under any false illusions about where we're at at the moment. That doesn't mean you have to spread your negative orgones to all and sundry. It's a lot more fun to at least pretend you're mildly excited about the upcoming football, as opposed to complaining about the business (or lack thereof) related goings on.
Yes we should all stick our heads up our arses and be top Reds like you

Hopefully, makes sense it's happening after Lukaku being rested today!
Not really, it was always going to happen. Inter want Icardi out yes or yes, until now the problem was convicing Icardi to leave. Conte was already excluding him from tactical/game training, this is simply the next move. It's all meant to make it clear to him that come hell or highwater if he stays, he'll spend the season watching games from his couch

There’s clearly a reason no top clubs are after him anymore, and it’s obviously medical after how Liverpool dropped out of signing him.
Weren't they still interested in signing him but wanted his price to be lowered, which Lyon didn't agree to thus move fell through.

He was excellent in the CL last year and he had a good domestic campaign. Starting 24 games in the league. Both seasons before that he started 28 games in the league. If he's managed properly, it seems you get a lot out of him.

Lukaku is (allegedly) leaving. Why can't we be in for this guy? Would be the perfect foil for Rashford.
I could have sworn when we where linked with him the caf wrote him off as no better than what we have.

Personally I prefer yedder

Well if, and it's a big if, Ole is planning on playing a 4231 as we saw today, then where we would fit both of them in?
True, but Haller is a different type of forward and will offer us a lot of tactical flexibility. Rashford won't be playing every game and with Martial playing wide and Greenwood too... green, we'll be a senior striker short.

Regarding Fekir and no big club willing to take a chance on him. Isn’t 30 million as big a risk for a team like Betis than double that for a team like us or Liverpool?

30 Million seems like a pretty big amount for them.
