I agree. Feel we'll be going all out to find a replacement for Matic after next season.I can’t see us signing him with Matic extending his contract. Good player though.
With the Grealish money?Villa looking to buy both aren't they?
They likely would've been relegated and poached regardless, but I get what you're saying.I feel sorry for teams in their position. They nearly make it, fail and then their best players get poached.
Thanks Jim. That's great news.Tweet

You just answered your own questionWhere are Arsenal getting the money from? Laying 50 people off, but still signing three quite expensive players and extending Aubameyang's contract without moving anyone on.
They have like 300 million in the bank. They were always really rich, they just refused to spend under Wenger, hence their current predicament and poor squad.Where are Arsenal getting the money from? Laying 50 people off, but still signing three quite expensive players and extending Aubameyang's contract without moving anyone on.
Arsenal’s owner and his wife together are worth around 18 billion. The fact that financial fair play has been lifted for next season for teams in Europe mean Arsenal could potentially blow most sides out of the water financially if they really wanted to go for it this season (they won’t as the Kroenkes couldn’t give a shit about football)Where are Arsenal getting the money from? Really cnutish move if that is actually the reason. You just answered your own question
For me, the reason is the football his teams play. He uses the signings to play football which is easily the most pleasing on the eye. If he used those signings to sit back and counter everyone would say the same thing as Jose.Giving UEFA a giant middle finger
Have always found it weird how the chequebook manager tag that gets attached to Jose rarely ever gets brought up with Pep when he's gotta be getting up there in terms of highest spending managers ever

Before this, Romano mentioned that we were close to a full agreement. This is the first time he's confirmed a 100% agreement.Hasn't this personal term agreement not come already 100 times? Only people saying otherwise are politically briefed, it looks

Speaking of which, it's been a while since we've seen Fridge around. I will be honest, I've been tempted to Tweet a few of the lower English leagues' transfer-related news, particularly that of Wigan's plight and their outgoings. I believe I've already posted one a few weeks back.@mazhar13 is a good version of @Fridge chutney - sends in loads of tweets at once, but ones we actually want to see!
Please no Only lower league Tweets I like are from our former players (or current players leaving/loaned out)Speaking of which, it's been a while since we've seen Fridge around. thats an absurdly detailed specification. Is that from a journo or been briefed from the club? Who fits that bill?Tweet
