Mbappe holds all the cards here and has no reason to feel pressure. At the end of the day he has his contract, and if PSG want to win CL this season (which is their priority) they can't afford to bench him as punishment. Real or whomever he signs for, will pay him incredibly handsomely. He will do exactly as Pogba, and then scuttle off next year.

Could you imagine! Why would he go there? I've always been a fan of his.
I know its been reported that he doesn't enjoy life in england and wants to go to Spain. But i dont get why Guardiola doesn't use him more. Fantastic player on his day. No doubt if Barcelona didnt have finanical issues he'd be signed by them. Has Barcelona written all over him.

Unlikely he'll be wearing the number 4 shirt. The twitter account probably decided against doing one for Jones knowing the abuse he'd get.
Not much choice left for him.
12, 16, 22? (Heaton doesn't have his number on the official website) 24.
I wonder which one will it be.

I think this transfer window will see a lot of action in the closing days, both sales and loans.

From the article
United have still not received any concrete interest for any of their surplus players amid the need to sell before there are any more incomings.

United are open to selling squad players Jesse Lingard, Andreas Pereira and Phil Jones before the transfer window closes on August 31.

Shirt Numbers can't change when the season starts. Its why academy players get the weird numbers and loaned players like Dalot and Lingard got to keep their original number.

If most of the squad are unwilling to take pay cuts, then Barcelona will have a difficult time registering their new players ahead of the start of next season.

Goldbridge is such a whiney tw*t. Can't win with this guy.
He like some fans think we are playing Ultimate team / Football manager.

Not many teams are able to fix their problems all in one window. It is clear that there is minimal interest in Andreas and Lingard and we cannot really bring someone else in unless players leave.

He acts as if McFred are totally useless and cannot play football.

We have Fred, McTominay, Pogba, Matic, Donny who can all play there

Yes, I would love a CDM but we also need to be realistic, fans want us to sign players for the sake of it.. who is out there that can actually play that role?

From the noises coming out, it feels like they could lose at least one key player by the end of August.

Just hope Pedri or De Jong don't end up at an oil club

He's just an ordinary fan who thinks he's Gary Neville. One reason why I cant stand his channel.

Midtjylland sporting director Svend Graversen on Cajuste's future:
There is such a keen interest in Jens that I find it difficult to see that nothing will happen in the near future with him. There are a lot of clubs that are interested and there are also many clubs that are concrete in their interest. Then it is the case for us and for Jens that we must find the optimal solution for all parties.

[On whether Cajuste will follow Onyeka to Brentford]
I can’t comment on that, but there is a lot of interest from several of the big leagues. We’ll see where he ends up.

Yeah fee is agreed (not surprising as one of our directors of football is FCM chairman  and Benham is majority shareholder) but as I mentioned before Cajuste can get paid more elsewhere, this has always been a 50/50 shot and that's coming directly from the owner.

If you see Messi next to me it's because we did everything within the rules. We have respected the FPF since day one. Honestly, if you could see the trade numbers for four days, you would be shocked.

Satisfied fans like you is why we have a pathetic window with two buys, one from last summer and one that was forced by the player, with no significant outgoings and the Glazers are able to spin it as some sort of a success even if these two purchases are not even fully integrated in the first team for a crucial first game.

Meanwhile, PSG sign Messi overnight and he's already training with them. At the same time, Chelsea are getting 40m for a player they don't need from an Italian club of all places.

I excuse some of this lack of perspective and standards with young age but surely not all of you are teenagers or in your mid-20s. How easy are you to fool?

Yerry Mina to James:
I want you to stay here (Everton); we are going to make history here and in the national team. We are going all out.
James's response:
We are at a club that is not the best, but you can compete with anyone...Football changes a lot; look at Messi; he is now at PSG. Physically, I’m fine; I haven’t felt like this for months. I want to have a good season whether it’s here or wherever, football takes many turns.

Is there anything more than a snowball’s chance in hell that De Jong moves?

  • Contract expires next year
  • Extension will go until 2024
  • After signing the extension, Agoume will leave on loan.
    • Likely to France or Germany, not Italy

Whitwell confirms what Romano reported earlier. Everton were also interested, but they went for Begovic instead.

Also, new info on Garner:
  • More clubs interested in Garner: Swansea + several clubs from the Bundesliga and Premier League
  • Derby may have trouble signing Garner because of their transfer embargo.

The last week of this window is going to be fecking crazy. It's too bad United are in the same situation as so many of the big teams (need to move several players before buying), I think there will be some bargains to be had.
